I installed this texture pack, but i also installed water shader mod. Without the texture pack water shader mod works, but with the texturepack it's just like normal water
Any solution?
Thanks!
How do you install the texture pack? Do you copy the texture pack zip-file to the "texturepack" folder or do you copy it to "minacraft.jar"? The water shader mod should work fine with R3D.CRAFT. R3D.CRAFT shouldn't affect that mod at all, if you install it correctly. There's an install guide on my thread

thats because water shader doesnt work with texture packs that doesnt support it
I think 8 GB should run the game fine. I know most people run it with 1 or 2.
I think he means that you need more ram dedicated to Minecraft. Even though you have 8 GB, you could have like less than a GB dedicated to Minecraft...
Can you gives us a sneak peak of the items, like the diamond tools and ender eye
I'll most likely release some sneak peaks now and then, but not here. Go over to the R3D.CRAFT fan-page on Facebook. That's where all these kind of stuff will appear + various updates and what-not ^.^
I have no clue when I'll ever get this finished. I can roughly estimate that the next update will come in about two weeks. I also want to inform you that I've been very, very busy lately, due to exams and personal projects. That's why it's still at 80%.
Why is it not called R3D.CRAFT? It seems like when you ask: "...what's with the name of the texture pack?" it seems like it's something wrong with it or it's weird.
This texture pack is called R3D.CRAFT, which stands for "Realistic 3-Dimensional Craft" or "Realistic 3D Craft" or "Red Craft". It's called this because of it's concept. The purpose with this texture is to give you a more realistic feel with the default texture, and make the default texture less flat (ex. shadows/highlights).
I felt this name spread professionalism. It had a punch. It fitted. That's why I choose it. I didn't want to call my texture for ex. "Default HD" or "The New Default" or something similar. It's too vague. It's also kinda cheesy/obnoxious.

I hope this explains the reason behind R3D.CRAFT
Oh right, i understand now xD it did kinda seem odd but knowing the rest of the story it became well, not odd great job with the texture pack too.
Wonderful pack! I use the 256x version and I found a glitch where if you don't play full screen and adjust the screen size, the inventory screen will be all white.
nice pictures on the Facebook page! you should release more, like the beloved diamond pickaxe
I just want to note that these screenies is taken by this guy, and for ex. the white outline will not be visible in game. This is also facebook quality xD
