I would really like to use this texture pack but because I'm on the newest snapshot, I don't want to use it yet and I am a texture noob and completely unable to edit other textures in. Will the new blocks be in the pack's next update because this pack looks great but I don't want to have purple blocks where my tripwires and emerald blocks should be.

The latest snapshot/update will be in the next texture pack update. Don't worry. I've already created the new GUI.
May I make a suggestion? I think you shouldn't use mediafire as the main download site because every once in a while you'll get a fake browser pop up telling you that you have 3 viruses. Something similar happens with adfly. It would be better to switch than to have people panic, click the fake scan button, and get a real virus.

I have never experienced problems/viruses by using Mediafire. Same goes with ad.fly. I do know that some people could have problems with Mediafire, so eventually, I'll make a second download source.
Ad-fly won't be removed. This is currently my only source of revenue by creating this texture. I'm not saying I create this texture for money. I'm not like that. I just find it nice to finally earn some profit for long hours of hard work.

Have you tried a malware scan? It might just be your computer. I advise Malwarebytes for scanning.
Love this texture pack! Too bad I can only run 256x256, my computer can run 512x very well, but I have no solution to the "ran out of memory" error. Yet I have 8GB RAM, oh well, 256x is good enough Great job!
Do you plan to update your pack every time Minecraft does or you'll do some massive update every two months?
When I'm eventually done with this texture, I'll try to update it as fast as possible, whenever there's a new snapshot/update available. I'll also update you with new mod-texture-supports.

So far I am loving this pack, it is so awesome! Perhaps support for Thaumcraft is the biggest mod that I didnt see on the poll that I use, though maybe adding support for the Buildcraft addon's Addition Pipes, Addition Buildcraft Objects, and then Logistics Pipes these are all mods I just about cant live without, I use basically a cut down Technic pack.
I truly look forward to the completion of this pack. Keep up the good work man!
You could either run minecraft through a .bat file allocating more memory directly to minecraft or go to this link and allocate more memory to java itself and run minecraft like normal http://www.minecraft...o-java-windows/
I'm aware, but allocating more memory to minecraft makes my fps drop oddly enough.
