I'm sorry if i missed this in part of the post but i honestly skimmed it cause its 5am here. I just wanted to know if the 32bit still supported connected textures from optifine and how this works on 1.4.5 cause some of the textures are still messed up >.< i love this pack but i just cant seem to get it to work post 1.4.2 Thank you for your time
Why do have such a hard time updating this
Texture pack... You have a great looking pack here
But you might as well still be in 1.3.
If you mean completing all of the necessary files, there's almost 700 of them (i think.).
If you mean updating to 1.4.5, there were no new textures added since 1.4.2, just code changes.
And i might add that if youre going to complain about another persoms work, that they put a lot of time into with no monetary reward, simply to give to the communityy? If youre going to have the audacity to complain about the rate at which something like that is produced, just dont use the pack. This isnt just directed at you--its directed at everyone who is doing wgat you did.
**Sorry for any typing errors, im on a phone and too lazy to revise.**
Just installed r3dcraft 512x and Minecraft is crashing after I'm in game for about 30 seconds. The game just closes after a sudden FPS drop (from 75 fps vsync down to <1). My application event log was spammed with 45,000 of these messages in the span of about 4 seconds:
"The NVIDIA OpenGL driver has encountered
an out of memory error. This application might
behave inconsistently and fail."
Is this a VRAM error or system RAM? MSI Afterburner is showing my vram usage was around 1.1 GB at the time of crashing, but climbing fast. I only have 1.25 GB on my GTX470. I have 16 GB of system RAM, but was seeing ~85% usage in game. My system idles at ~34% due to a RAM disk, so Minecraft was using 8 GB. I have Minecraft launch with -Xmx8192m -Xms4096m. I didn't receive a memory warning from Windows before the crash, and theoretically I had 2+ GB free.
Anyone have any ideas how to prevent crashes and/or what subsystem the OpenGL out of memory error is referring to? The game runs smooth and looks great with this texture pack, but crashing obviously isn't convenient.

If it says that your graphics card ran out of memory then it is vram. The only way to fix it is get a new gpu or get the 256x256 version.

You need more graphics memory or just use a lower res version of the texture pack. For what its worth, some folks have reported that the 256x version looks about the same as the max version, so you might not notice a difference in appearance, but should see significant gain in performance.
Try that and report back?
I'm stuck using the 32x version, but still am pretty enthralled by this pack. Other 3rd party textures are so distracting to me, this one is just the original, but better.
one thing that i hope to be changed, the compasses needle is too small.
I can't change the compass needle. There's no texture for it. It's generated by coding (one color, one shape). It gets smaller as you go higher in texture pack resolution (32x32 = big / 512x512 = small).
Why is it that you are unable to update your texture pack!
Alot of players use this pack and I for one really miss the
Features. Please update and keep making great material

You've been replied to directly already, but in case you missed it (which I assume you have) read the post just above yours.
He's stated that he plans on adding mod textures later, but he's not even done with the default textures yet. It'll be a while yet.
It works with 1.4.5 because mojang didn't add anything, they just fixed stuff in the code.

Not sure if this is a texture issue, or a TMI issue.
Other than OptiFine and TMI, no other mods running.

You didn't ask a question. That could be the problem.
The guy does have huevos, three posts in and he's already a douche.

It should work fine as Matt and TangibleLight have pointed out already.

I want to start recording with this texture pack and it not enough done to really use
Looks great though
