I understand and I wish I could change that, but a such change would only harm the texture without transparent color information enabled. I could add dust, dirt and some gradients with a vague opacity :/
Would, like three tiny, thin lines in the corner work, or would that screw it all up? If it would screw it up, I could look into making an Optifine add-on that gives glass textures transparency. I can't guarantee that I can make it happen, but I'll try.

Yes, but still it requires a mod to achieve a such effect. Not everyone wants to download mod on mod so that this texture may look good.
Thin white lines in the corner would still ruin it. Reflections should be dynamic.
I can make a 'ctm_defaultstyle.png' that includes the glass the same way that normal CTM mod does it.
I want this to go through Uniblue to A: make sure its O.K. and B: so that the png might be included in a future update so a little renaming could add it in-game.
I want this to go through Fifth5 to tell him I might do something that would solve a root issue that his solution is built around (though his solution to the problem would suit some people better than my solution)

I don't know what a CTM is, but I think I get it from context. Here's a guess: an option to download the texture pack with?

Connected Textures Mod
It makes the boundaries of the glass blocks disappear when two glass blocks are adjacent to one another, the sides of bookshelves when they are adjascent, and the tops of sandstone when a sandstone is above it. This makes for an overall smoother feel, but it results in the issue you are having when the center of the block has no textures. The pic I linked to is what the default CTM does in 16x vanilla.
The ctm.png is the bitmap where the mod gets the texture files.
The one currently in R3D looks like this.
The default ctm.png looks like this. (the chest part is irrelevant due to the animated chests added in 1.8, and the break animation isnt in this one because I took this from an earlier version of ctm.)
I was suggesting that I could make a version that include HD versions of the little dots in the glass, that people could put in their R3D texture .zips that would prevent the issue of having no textures on glass surrounded by 8 glass.

Ah I see your point now. Personally I think that is a great idea, having that as an option, but we'll just have to see what UniblueMedia thinks. *crosses fingers* Thank you for explaining.
The most important thing you can do
as a modder/Texture pack maker is keep R3D up to date.
Seems like thats not the case here. People know days ahead of
the next update, this is only good advice (keep players coming back
to your mod by having an update ready) instead of two to three days later
or not at all. no update means that you are not interested this texture pack.
And please don't say "if only more people would donate updates would be more timely"!

I write updates when there is a significance change. All such smaller updates and previews are also posted on R3D's fanpage on Facebook.
Even though I don't write updates so frequently, I'm still highly interested in my own work. My goal isn't to have as much user activity here as possible. People come, they read, they download, they leave suggestions if they feel like it and then they install this texture.
I will update this texture when there are enough to update. There's no rule stating I have to update you every third day or so. It takes a lot of time to update, too. This isn't the only place I display this texture on.
I'm not a modder and this is not a mod. This is a texture pack.
I don't strive for donations, a bit ignorant to imply that.
Well, seeing as 1.4.4 breaks the texture pack(unless my MC is corrupt), I see it as quite logical to "demand" it to be updated faster. It's your decision and all, but still.
1.4.4 does not break while using R3D.CRAFT. It works fine, and as there is no texture-changes in the new update, I see no reason to update it.
Yeah, with all the drama Tekkit has I'd put Feed The Beast support above Tekkit.
It's basically the same thing as Tekkit but they got proper permissions from the mod authors to be included in the pack afaik.
Will you be adding textures for other mods? I really like this texture.
Other mods are to be installed, but Uniblue wants to finish the rest of vanilla before he starts messing around with third-party mods.
This is just what I know (or think I know, anyway) from conversations between Uni and other people on this thread.

That's correct, just like all your other replies given, and I would like to thank you for that, for answering people's questions so fast and so frequently. Thank you

All graphical work is showing you the original R3D.CRAFT, which is 512x512. The versions below are just compressions.

It... What?
I wish it could shave 350 fps off my framerate. That would mean I had 350 for it to shave off haha.
Only dropped my framerate by about 20 but I only had about 60 to begin with.
:::EDIT:::
At 128x anyway.

The only difference is one new music disc. I think it will appear invisible unless the texture pack is updated.
