i think that the workbench chest are a nifty idea, and are unique. the footlockers will be for the zombie version, i do plan on doing more for this, this is just round 1. i have plans for some quite outlandish. this is almost done, so it won't be long, i'm trying to get this done fast, odd as it may seem. it's ****ing haaaard. i thought i'd be done in a month.

Im a huge Fallout fan, so I was ecstatic to see this in someone's signature. I especially like the items, all the conversions are logical (i.e. coal to MF Cell).
I like the jukebox being recreated, also the iconic Nuka Cola machine. The chests are very clever, as is the punga fruit melons. Mobs all look excellent, as do the items.
However a few things bother me. Some block textures seem a little off, like the bricks being almost flat grey. Also the cobblestone being a square meter piece of riveted metal seems a bit odd, a mosiac of cobbled-together metal panels would be more logical imo, then neat riveted metal as stone bricks. Lastly, the grass would be a bit more lively, but thats only my opinion. I realize alternate textures will become available in the future.
Once again I love the pack, and can't wait to see where you go with it!

thank you, it took a long time to figure out that logical items, i had to look through 4 games of items and weapons and armor and textures to find it all.
when I get more mobs done the mobs will look a lot better. I love the glowing one's.

I'll try to turn the existing block to be that way, because i agree and more or less forgot to fix that.
yeah, grass, no worry, grass texture can take me like 2 seconds to do, it's not that hard. i'll get a customizer up and running soon for this.
i got a MATmos that's starting to sound good and will add a lot, but i want to do all the other sounds up for it like i did with last days, before i give it out.

frankly Fallout 1 and 2 are both in the Mojave desert area. More people could relate to FNV even if they only played fallout 3, or even if they never played anything past fallout 1. it's really the best meeting point.

yes it's true but some thought 50 years, but to justify that, the hunger bar is the radiation bar, so you're consitantly being bombarded it seems. IT'S STILL KILLABLE! also with the planned MAtmos mod plugin it'll mkae that geiger counter pop up more then one would expect.

never heard of Mineout and most 80% of the texture pack is original, and all of the textures, gui, and items other then the armor that's left from the last days placeholders were done by me, from scratch, looking at fallout wiki.
You may have seen some of my work IN Last Days as one of the contributors to last days. i still do the customizer for them after contributing so much for them in croco's absence i even did the forum.i also did the entire sound pack. I tried my best to keep that pack going even whent eh mian guys were gone for so long. Now that Croco gave the pack back to History, I realized that I wanted to go more realistic and Fallout direction, and so did this instead.
anyways, all the textures belong to me i assure you, and like i'm still working on replacing all of the textures from last days, hence why it's still a WIP Beta.
Thanks for showing me Mineout though, I think what they did is even harder to do with so low resolution, they did the full jukebox on one block, that took me 2 to do.
mineout is 16x even, how can you think i took anything from that?
I think you should make the potions stimpacks (needles) and change the mushroom soup to a pork and beans texture
I did it because of this, check out the Crafting excerpt. besides the can of beans is done in Last Days, kind of obvious too. but what would i make the splash potions then?
Yay! This is really amazing! I really loved last days, though I stopped uisng it at 1.7.3, after that the sound pack wasn't updated.
I actually love the leaves, they are like a hundred times better than last days!
Is last days updated for 1.1, btw? Isn't it history that's working on it right now? Or is he just "hosting" the thread?
Did you mention a matmos expansion? Is there any chance that it'll be a working sound pack?

The sound packs updated and better then ever, I was waiting for 1.8 to do it all. Last Days is 1.0 last I left it. History had a lot of **** going on with school and gf and moving out and far as i know is living on the street... or with a friend. basically bigger issues then texture packs. Croco went off to work on his pack and gave it to history.
I'll post the MAtmos with the sound pack, I think. I still am testing it I'm not 100% how MAtmos works, I know how the MC sounds work and that's no issue.

was thinking about it as i saw some of the textures liekt he fire axe and stuff and thought...
since I did textures for last days for over a year ago, if anything, they might be the ones that ripped off/imitated me.... I was always the onepushing to make last days more like fallout, but croco was against it. i understood after when history returned that last days is it's own thing and NOT FALLOUT;)
This Texture Pack is simply BEYOND EPICNESS especially with the proper mod added in it (Talkin bout Gun's mods like SDK's).
The Night time would be a little hassle tho, cuz it's pretty dark but that adds to the creepiness when you were in a really deep cave and it's night time that's where you gotta make a real slick moves.
Is there anyway you would make SDK's guns look more epic? Cuz I see you did amazing work on the Default weapons.
