Edit: also, because I don't have the OG working files for the 3D UI, and don't much like the classic UI, I may just switch the whole pack to Transparent UI for now, untill the rest is updated. I could try to work on the 3D pack, but my Photoshop skills aren't exactly top tier lol

I never knew there was an actual forum for this resource pack. As a result I have ALOT of textures and fixes, some of which may have already been done before (sorry!). I'll admit too that I'm not the best artist so in an attempt to keep artistic consistency, majority of them use already existing textures.

In all honesty some of them aren't very clean and/or duplicates so I wouldn't expect them to be added, but for whichever ones you see fit, feel free to use them. Willing to help support the pack in any way I can, my #1 favorite of all time.
Attached is CTM examples as well as biome-based mob variation using villagers.
USING OPTIFINE: Some blocks have texture randomization such as cobble, flowers, others connect such as brick and wool. Notice the randomized dead bushes in the background are randomized too. Wood planks of ALL variations have unique randomized textures when optifine is used. This was original to the pack and I fixed it as well as added textures for the newer nether wood variations. Disregard the half-baked nether tree logs lol, they're animated but don't look all that great.

I'm currently trying to find other resource packs with similar visual style, so that I could use those to fix missing blocks, entities etc. Started to familiarize myself with resource pack folder structure and insides just as I ran into your post. Hopefully project stays a float. I try to contribute myself if I find extra time, it would be swell to find a time to create plugin based on Rustic Redemption for Biomes o' Plenty as well...
EDIT: Yup. Found some time to play around. Don't know if these block textures have been already submitted by someone, but these were good ones to practice with. Some are not finished/honed/polished yet, so I don't submit link to these yet, but I will throw these somewhere soon.
EDIT: Seems I had conflicting package with vanilla x16 bee nest there as I took screenshot. Here is better one. I have now first version of bees et honey ready for review.
Unfortunately Git seems to do something odd while archiving files to .zip and it needs to be opened and/or repackaged before use.
EDIT: Did some testing with Biomes o Plenty and converted few sand/sandstone blocks and made log textures for willow_log, magic_log, cherry_log and mahogany_log and tops. Should have done stripped ones at the same time as well, but... Noticed this while I was doing Willow... :/
PS. Does any of you guys use git (Github/Bitbucket/Gitlab)? It would be much more convenient to do this kind of version control and pack update there? I think I'll set up git for update purposes at least for myself. Are Ovo's Rustic Redemption textures under any licence like GPL?
Ovos Rustic Redemption 1.17 vs Minecraft 1.16.5 diff files showing missing textures / different folder structure can now be found from my Git. I'll add new structure files after manual merge with Finnollie/Finnigan contributions and TeManas contributions.
In 1.8a I have manually merged all of Finnigans contributions and added TeManas textures, but I haven't yet removed duplicate or deprecated legacy files/folders. There is though fdupe listing there as well.
Yup, wen't through structure and removed a lot unnecessary duplicate textures from legacy / redundant / deprecated folders etc. I'm sure that there is still a lot left. Also fixed some Optifine CTM .properties and folders and tested almost all ctm's. Will throw diff files and changelogs to Git. Now Ovo's Iron Golems roam around once more and dandelions, ferns etc... are many.
Next I'll take diffs from MC1.16.5 and Unofficial 1.8b and start going through rest of files. There is quite probably still deprecated stuff there.

PS. I'm NOT gonna release any package myself, at least before I get OK from maintainers themselves. So repository currently contains ONLY diff text files which should make maintenance easier.
Ok, so I started to go through entities & optifine for those. Played around a little bit and added option to use different textures for a villagers. I think I'll add some variation through that, like different eye / hair colours? I'll try to go through part of entities today and make list of what works and what doesn't during next few days.
PS. No, I did not use any existing persons faces while playing around with villager textures. Made just few pics with https://www.thispersondoesnotexist.com/ and threw those on existing skins. Didn't actually bother to blend those in any better, as this was just proof of concept type of thingie.
Smoker from acacia_planks almost ready, will need to add fire effects and nails to the smoker_side and maybe rework that top texture a little bit, but that should take no sweat. I'll throw link to download as soon as I get this in some sort of order. Let me know what you think. I tried to catch Rustic Redemption vibe and vanilla feel. If you think some other woodframe would be better, let me know.
EDIT: Upped new image, now this is almost usable. Although fire effect and fire glow on fireplace texture needs some work still. I think I go down from original furnace textures 50 alternative fire images to something little bit more manageable... I'll throw 0.5 version online today at some point.

After realizing that zombie villagers get different profession textures (I forgot), I decided to go ahead and make textures for zombie farmers and librarians too.

I was originally just interested to get missing blocks from other packs, but took little time to learn how to do textures myself. Learning curve is steep still, but I think I can contribute something usable. Never actually done this sort of thing before, so any and all feedback is welcome!
I'll use this day to apply your recent changes to my latest development version 1.8c and test those out and get that smoker out. I'll also try to edit smithing table to releasable order. I also post WANTED textures post on this forum, so that we can keep track who is doing what, that minimizes duplicate work on some textures and we can priorize what blocks/textures/entities would be nice to get upped.
Post Scriptum. You don't happen to be from Finland by any chance? I just noticed some relic "kopio" files from your contribution pack as I was doing cleanup.
PPS. I could send you my copy of development version ie. "1.8c" if you are interested to check that out. It includes your contributions, my contributions, TeManas textures and has been cleaned up from old folders and files. That way we would be working from similar kind of basis and all my fixes would be included in your copy as well? It would also be useful if somebody would check that I haven't broken anything unintentionally.

Cheers! Campfires blocks and items seem great, but there seems to be minor issue with soul campfire fire effect. I don't know if this is something system specific, but I can dig into it little bit later.
