So whats your next project after this is done. I'd realy like to see you do a pack that is for the feel of a spooky house. In the subtle way of being alone in a black out, and thinking you just heared someone break in. Rather then the usual slaughter house special you see from most packs.

Those ores are so creative! Love them to bits!
Man, I really can't wait to get my hands on this pack. You're going to make quite the splash when you release.
EDIT: Your stone looks like it might have a bit of a tiling issue. The little bits of stone in the center are smaller than the bits of stone along the edges, creating a grid-like pattern.

Ah! I do agree. I'm of mixed opinion on having grid patterns in textures in Minecraft. On one hand yeah, it can be noticeable in fields of that texture, but it also helps define edges on smaller pieces...

wow. These are good. Great creativity. As far as tiling goes the only part that bothers me is the corner. ... I just can't stop looking at them. Please release your pack. Please.
Say, would anyone be able to help me out with some light modding stuff (or perhaps show me where I can figure it out myself). I need to figure out how to turn off the automatic coloring that the game does to objects like the lily pad (I'm replacing it with floating garbage) and the redstone wiring (which I'm turning into actual wiring).
I can always do a trade of art for programming help :smile.gif:!

Well I don't know how to help you with the lily pads, but in the 2 squares directly beneath redstone, whatever you put there will appear one the redstone, and not be effected by the red glow.

This looks as if it is going to be really rather nice, and no less should be expected of a proffesional, but when I look at these screen shots I kind of get the feeling that where you have tried to cram so much detail into such a small surface it starts to look less clean and slightly messy. It's not that it's bad quality but I think that when i compare this to some other 32x packs I think that they usually look much less personal and interesting but on the same level also less cluttered and more clean.
Well, it looks pixely, but that's not a bad thing. I love the feel of the pack, and don't at all think he's limited by the resolution.

I don't mean to be harsh because it's clear that you are very good at making these textures I just thought that i might be able to help you (since I'm always looking for help and advice on my pack)
I hear what you're saying, and actually on a few textures I do agree and have gone back to redo them. It's hard working in small sizes and with textures that not only have to look good from side view, but top view as well as tile up, down, and side to side. Finding that middle ground that looks good universally can be quite tricky. When working on the set I was thinking more along the lines of how I play the game. Small areas within a personal castle/manor house like structure, so a lot of the concentrated detail works great for that scenario. I still feel that it doesn't come off as cluttered out in the open world or in larger, grander structures though. Hopefully when you get your hands on it you can see for yourself and find it appealing :smile.gif:
Also, as a side note, in a lot of the screenshots I do, I cram in a lot of the artwork and textures together in one space to show off how they can relate to one another across the broader spectrum of the pack. So that might be a part of why you're getting that feeling too.
Stunning and impressive work thus far. From the craftable plant items to the wool/ore blocks, Your ideas/solutions are really meshing well.
Can't wait for an End/Nether teaser, and getting a first look at mobs.

Hmm... I'll fiddle with it!
Glad you like the ores though :biggrin.gif:!

Finished the ores AND the bedrock that you can see peaking out near the bottom of the screenshot...
About 25 textures left before I release the terrain.png!
HURRAY!
Ceramic lapis, that is very nice. I love that even with all of your unique blocks, they still fit very well into minecraft.

Oooo! Thanks for the tip on the redstone!
Worked like a charm!

Buying all the parts for my new compy in a day or two too so I'm pretty damn excited/pumped/happy right now!
