Great tp! u get out of
downloaded it and testing it right now :biggrin.gif: feedback will come within the next days :biggrin.gif:
first impression: AWESOME! the mood you created is extremely good, your textures look stunning, and all that you've done so far looks like one piece! i really really like this tp! but to use the full potential out of it, someone has to create a mod, that makes minecraft a lot spookier, or the horro mod has to be finished :biggrin.gif:
I'm really glad you enjoyed it, thanks a lot :3 I worked pretty hard on the textures, so I'm glad they paid off :smile.gif:

How do you mean it didn't work? Did the game crash, or did it not show up? A little more information would be appreciated :3
Looking good, apple! Might I suggest a skull or some other horror decal on the glowstone?
Thanks! I thought the red sun looked pretty creepy and gothic, but I'll try a skull out too :3 If there is no change in the next update, it's because I like the sun better ;3
My my, that is a REALLY pretty texture pack. Looks amazing with 1.8's lighting system. Window panes and obsidian look pretty damn awesome. I can't wait until it's finished, I want to see what you have in mind for lava (because right now it's just using the stock lava, no?).
By the way, I hope you don't mind, but I used your texture pack for an LP by a friend and I. A link to this thread is in the video description, of course!

Thanks, yes currently I'm only using default lava. When I updated the OP, I'll put your video there, I'm really glad you used it for an LP!
The OP has been updated! I shall release 0.2 soon, I just need to finish a few more textures.
EDIT: The rose is the Red Herb from the Resident Evil series :3 I'm doing the yellow flower now, then I might touch up a few more. But everyone, you can expect an update within a few hours.
This update includes...
-Missing 1.9 textures! [Lily pad & mushroom grass]
-Cactus!
-Pine leaves!
-Redstone torches! [Subject to change]
-Monster spawner!
and more! [Check the changelog]
Please leave feedback, and let me know what you think in the comments!
(Apologies for leaving out the 1.9 textures in the previous update, forgive me? :3)
Also created a banner! Put it into your signature to support the pack! :3
Expect the completed terrain to be released sometime this week - currently all that remains is:
Tall grass, ferns, rails, repeaters, mushrooms, web, saplings, redstone dust, pistons and possibly cake.
Stay tuned, and remember to vote on what you want to see next!
Ah, apple, you missed my post in the TAU about your item things. Do you use Photoshop? and if not, can GIMP open photoshop files? (PSD's). Alternatively, is there another file format that supports layers that your image editor supports that I can use?
I've finished the sword template... It's the basic Wooden Sword. Now... once you answer the above question, I can work out how to send it to ya. Basically, in order to transform it from one form into the other, we'll go in order from wood through to gold.
Stone:
Basically, just desaturate the blade, pommel (round bit at the bottom) and crossguard layers and then add some Noise to make it look rougher. Not too much, though. (Make sure you copy the template each time)
Iron:
Desaturate the blade, pommel and crossguard, then bump up their brightness (not the handle) until they look nice and shiny. You can also add gems and other such stuff if you want.
However, because yours is a horror-themed pack, you'll probably want to make the edges of all the swords a bit rougher, which can easily be done. Just make sure you save each modification as a separate file in case you mess it up a bit. Once you've got all the other swords from it, you could probably add moss or something to the wooden sword.
Gold/Diamond:
Same as Iron, but colorize the layers so they have a gold/ice-blue tinge to your preference.
Same goes for all the other tools really. You can take the Stick layer from my file and use it to create the other weapons... You should be able to go off the default items, but they're at 16x, which makes it harder... It's easier going from 32x to 64x than 16x to 64x... just because they're closer.
Feedback from anyone else?

The Nether is coming along nicely, I'm going to do the Nether Bricks next. Here is a preview:
Also, I shall update the OP with new screenshots and information tomorrow - I'm just trying to find a nice server I can take pictures on.
