Very very nice texturepack. This is the only texture pack i have been using since i first got into minecraft(alpha). 256x256 all the way with still getting 120fps :smile.gif:.
I have more hours logged with this texture pack than any other. While not usually a fan of the vanilla, I must say this pack is the sauce. Often times I will load up some pack and find the textures too bold or blandly patterned. Yet the way you keep the atmosphere of minecraft intact even at 256 is special. Keep up the awesomeness.
Wow, a new HD pack that isn't just a complete steal/rehash of someone else's work? Actual content of interest?
Seriously, this looks great, I commend you.
Except that this pack isn't new at all, I was the first person with a 128/256 pack most of the other packs were rips, or were based on mine, I have been working on this for a year, they just deleted my thread with half a million hits in august due to inactivity, Minecraft hadn't had an update so I hadn't been around.
I have been nitpicking at this set since last october, and balancing colors, and what not, I've tried to make it a 256 set where you don't even need mip-mapping, I hate super realistic grainy HD packs, but I also hate how mipmapping looks even more, so I have tried my damnest to make this set smooth but detailed, I still have things I want to improve but it has really come along over the course of the year.
For fans of the Mincraft Enhanced mod, I have made a super lite version of it, and also I update the double view mod if your interested you can get it Double View mod + MCE lite
I love this texture pack! I've been using it since 1.3, and i can't use anything else now :biggrin.gif:. I thought the pack was gone forever when the old thread was removed, but now i found this. Now i can finally upgrade to 1.8 :biggrin.gif:
However, it seems armor, music disks and rotten flesh still uses the standard textures. If you fix that, i will love this pack even more :biggrin.gif:

hay cferril how are you? long time no see. been a while since AOM hehe.
anyway got a question or request for you. could you do a texture pack for the connected textures mod. I think it only needs a few textures. well i'll let you have a look and see if its something you can do and are willing to. from what i can tell its not much work but ur much better at photoshop than i am.
for those who are interested this mod takes out the seams in things like the top of double chests and large pains of glass. making them look better and more realistic.

Well for starters notch changed the way the chests are in 1.8 so the double chests don't have the seam anymore, but I'll look into the other stuff.
Hey chief, glad to have you back. Coincidentally, I looked for this thread 2 days ago, and couldn't figure out wth it had gone. Thought maybe you deleted it or something. Glad that wasn't the case.
Cferril, could you take a look at the spout plugin for bukkit? It has a lot of the capeabilities that the MC enhanced mod used to have. Maybe you could make your mod compatible? Spout enables clientmods to work with servers but no normal modloader mod works with it. Spout could become the major base-mod in the future, at least for people who use bukkit.
Any plans for a 1.9 pre-release update? or are you waiting for the official 1.9 release?
I'm working on the set today, not sure if I'll do a pre-release version or not we'll see now far I get today. I'm not sure how many people are actually playing the pre-release anyway, from the looks of things it looks like most people are trying it briefly then going back to 1.8.
I really am liking the pre-releases though, makes it easier to have updates ready when it goes live so I get less "are you going to update for 1.x" posts... Instead I get the occasional "are you going to update for 1.x pre" posts :smile.gif:
Thx !

Good to see that you are still with us.
As always, amazing work.
Can't wait untill the Mod will be out again.
This is the only texture pack i have used and liked. All the other ones. They just don't seem like minecraft
I just found this pack a few days ago, and it's now currently my default pack
Hope all is well.
