NESCraft is a texture pack based off of the old Nintendo games of the 80s and 90s.
Using recreations of tiles and items from NES games that I pixeled myself, NESCraft gives Minecraft a nostalgic, retro feel. From well-known classics like Super Mario Bros. to obscure games like Joy Mech Fight, NESCraft uses textures from over 20 games.

Many of the the tiles and items in this pack are all recreated from NES games, and belong to their respective owners. You may use the mob skins in custom packs, but please credit me if you do.
Love the texture pack, even if it lags a little bit. The angry sun is scary! Also, some of the items are hard to identify without reading what they are. But maybe that's just me.
Also, I have a suggestion. What if creepers were wearing the masks from SMB3? You know, the ones that chase you when you pick up the key? That would be great I think.

Ooh, that's a cool idea. I'll consider it.
Yeah, some of the items are a bit hard to identify, but I tried to put in things that weren't TOO unrecognizable.
So, I whipped up a skin for the duck mob from Mo' Creatures, based off of the Duck Hunt ducks. Should I include textures for a few mods in future updates?

I say sure. it would be interesting becuse not many texture packs make custom textures for mods. go for it :tongue.gif:

Its basically a texture pack site that allows you to create a painterly style customizer for your pack :smile.gif: (like providing alternate textures and themes). And with a pack concept like this, you could add dozens if not hundreds of alternate textures! Their are probibly several versions of everything from some of these old nes games :smile.gif:
BTW, saw what you put as the map texture, Genius :biggrin.gif: Is there a plain LOZ pack out there? and if not, could you make one :smile.gif:
But if that doesnt happen, please look into http://minecraftcustomizer.net/ i would love to mix and match stuff from your pack with other stuff :smile.gif:

I believe there are several Zelda texture packs out, including an NES one.
And I'll look into it! The site sounds very interesting and I will strongly consider adding my pack to it.

What I meant by that is that MCPatcher makes it look weird.
Mainly the compasses and clocks, because they aren't finished yet. I dunno, maybe it's my computer.

Yeah, some of the items are a bit hard to identify, but I tried to put in things that weren't TOO unrecognizable.
Unfortunately, they do not. I had to make this sacrifice for the style of the pack.

There's actually quite a few Mega Man things in the pack, quite a few tools and items are also from the various NES installments of the series.
