The new HD patcher DOES support x512 packs. In fact, it supports any resolution as long as the terrain is completely square. You can run 7x7, 23x23, or even 1024x1024.
Congrats on your comeback. I hope to see this finished this time. XD
Finally a(n overly) high res pack that isn't BENT on making everything look REAL! If I wanted to punch a real tree, I'd go outside and I'd do it. Love this man, finish it! I look forward to it. :biggrin.gif:
I get the feeling when this is done, it's going to give minecraft a look that makes it seem like the game supports anti-alias even though it doesn't. Just from how smooth and soft everything will look.
Also kudos to you for doing these all as vectors. As someone who works with vectors every day I realize how time-consuming these can be and how hard it can be to get them to look as nice as bitmaps as they do as vectors.
I'm not sure when I'll be done. When I'm feeling motivated I can work at a reasonable pace (2 minutes per texture), but when I'm feeling unmotivated, I work much slower.
Anyway, I have updated netherrack, soulsand, lava, red flower, yellow flower, red mushroom, brown mushroom, clay, bamboo, and jukebox. See first post for textures.
I'm not entirely happy with how netherrack looks... maybe I'll change the quad border into a single border.
dllu I have just tested your terrain.png in minecraft the circles will turn into cylinders and cause lag and also
the water looks like water without mcpatcher if i were you pixelate the circles perfectly so it looks like a circle
also i tested the one that wasn't 512x so if it the 512x it would have crashed my computer
also i went to the nether the netherrack looks okay just put the quad squares a little closer.
Ok, great, tyvm
Minecraft 1.7 uses the bottom of the texture square for both the bed and the cake. You've got your bed using the top of the square. :smile.gif:
Looks great btw!
rails, pistons, workbench, and hatch
I've also added some other misc things like cactus.
