Greetings, I had a couple questions for you about this pack; if you could answer, I'd appreciate it.
1) Are your original textures 64x64 source files, or do you have the capability of rendering some at 128x128 or 256x256, etc?
2) Have you ever considered releasing normal maps and perhaps specular and parallax maps for these as well? This would add enormously when running Optifine with normal maps enabled, and even more if it also had specular and parallax capability for the Continuum shader.
By the way, although I personally am overriding some of these textures with those from other texture packs (I really need 128 or 256 for most common blocks), I have to say that this pack by and far has more character than just about any other pack out there.
New update! New version for Minecraft 1.12... Happy New Year!
Minecraft
- finally added gui textures for the Furnace!
- updated crafting gui textures for compatibility with Minecraft 1.12
- added Recipe Book textures Minecraft 1.12
- updated bed textures for compatibility with Minecraft 1.12 (just the White bed for now)
One thing though- if you're willing to move away from using different wood types for wall paper and such I'd highly recommend doing so. From what I've seen it tends to hurt builds more than help...
Just some feedback, I look forward to seeing this completed, I love the style you're going for here!

Are you referring to the spruce planks tudor style?
I'm open to suggestions.
I like it in some builds, but, sometimes it's more of a stone in my shoe
Maybe a different look for the stairs blocks?
Could anyone recommend me a solid companion pack for this? The disparity between the gorgeous textures of BoS and vanilla pixel graphics is... jarring, to say the least.

Thank you, woodsmoke. Which textures are the most jarring? I'll see what I can do
Basically anything that isn't included in the overworld (I've yet to get to the Nether or End while using your RP - I play... very slowly), though I suppose I could specify tools to be more helpful.
I really just want a full 64x experience while I play, but things like mobs and food items seem to be outside the scope of what you want to do with the pack, which is why I didn't feel right asking you to do more.
Edit: Sorry for the delayed response. I work in construction, which means long hours and not a lot of time for Minecraft some days, let alone forums.
Hi,
thanks for your reply ^^
Some wear marks and a little bit rust would be great. But still this RoW look in 64 x 64 (well for the rolling stock more like 1024 instead of 256)

Just found out about this pack and omg I love it!
I cant wait for the next updates to come
This needs a 512x, just sayin' Love it!
Far and away one of the best RPs I've ever encountered. Really hoping for/looking forward to a 1.12 update at some point.

New update! New version for Minecraft 1.13
None of the new 1.13 textures, yet.
The connected textures won't work until Optifine for 1.13 is released.

On June 16th 2019 the Minecraft Forum will be archived!
From that date this original Battered Old Stuff thread will be read-only
I've moved all the latest versions of Battered Old Stuff (for 1.14, 1.13, 1.12, 1.11) to a folder on Mediafire.
I'll continue to update Battered Old Stuff as new versions of Minecraft are released.
If you have any questions/problems/etc then please post them on the Battered Old Stuff Facebook page.
New/Updated version for Minecraft 1.14 and 1.13
Most of the connected textures should now work with Optifine.
I'll keep updating these as I fix them.
oz, all the best for the future, and for the future of BOS.
Sad day these forums are closing.
Thank you, Glimmar! I've really appreciated your support over the years.
8 years ago today I started this thread with just one texture for the chest!
But, you were there from the beginning encouraging me. It really meant a lot, mate!
I'll miss this place, too
Always loved this pack Ozbillo. I hope you are still working on it. I saw your last updated were back in December so it looked promising
If you are interested, most of us from TAU joined the TAU discord https://discord.gg/MnWxSeU
It would be refreshing to see some of your textures again.
