Whoah, brilliant stuff there.
Again, just how you made the windows look like windows, you made the torches look like actual torches :tongue.gif:
Just one thing bothers me a bit, those stonetextures dont look too good from a bit away, because of the high detail.
any chance you could try to do something with a bigger pattern?

I agree. Here's a version with a "softer" texture. Have a see how that looks in action.
This pack gives my minecraft a hemmingway-feeling, very free, sunny, all that's missing is a jukebox that plays some cuban music. Oh, and the planks are uninterrupted, making a wall of planks look like some very very long planks.

Thanks, No_44. And I'll experiment with plank interruptions.
There's a little diagonal line in the wooden planks texture which messes up the tiling. I think you should smooth that out a bit, and maybe make the wood texture in general a bit more ... grainy? It looks a tad bit too smooth.
Other than that and those ugly tools on the workbench (which I seriously suggest you remove haha) it's amazing.
It all looks remarkably well done. Very real even being only at x64. My favorites are the chest and wood planks. But everything else is just as amazing.

Wakes up before kids on school holidays. Sneaks onto complinker, still drinking first coffee of the day. Wanders into MCF...
Oh yes, that's the way to start your day, beautiful new textures!
The oil lamp is perfect. Not too shiny, not too dark. I rather fancy building a paddle steamer with those lamps... Would lightstone blocks make good square old fashioned lanterns? Brass or Iron frames set with thick panels of amber glass like a New England "Fog Cutter" ships lantern.
The planks with ends look a little too much like bricks. Less regular spacing of the ends might help that, or just less plank ends maybe? Planks are pretty long after all...
The cobblestone is just right, don't touch it, seriously! It's the right colours, the right patterning, right there!
Partner BlackGoat suggests adding a bit of colour to your 3rd Natural Stone variant, a few random small smears of sandy yellow, darker grey and gravel pink for example, maybe even the odd rusty streak of weathered iron ore?
The new sand looks great and tiles well. Idle thought, if you do a sandstone, give it the indented edge and chisel stippling of convict hewn sandstone in RL Australia...
And in case I forgot to say so elsewhere, the Hatch and Timber Door compliment each other perfectly.

Its all good, keep it up!
Thanks, DarkMother. I appreciate all your input.
Planks. Maybe just plank ends on every second row within the texture might work. We're obviously a bit restricted working within a block boundary, though. It would be good to only have plank joins every third block or so. Not possible at the moment, of course.
Here's my first attempt at a sandstone texture. It's not super chiseled but looks quite good, I reckon.
I feel as if the sandstone is kindoff missing something.. I don't know what. And an unlucky lighter mark on the top block make it look as if it's all made out of squares instead of being a brick pattern.
Oh and I think you should try finding an alternative to the cobblestone, as this one tiles very obviously.
That sounds great, Valas. And would it allow more than one style of window to be visible at the same time?
Yes! And it's done. Link Removed
Currently it supports 4 extra textures, and defaults to the normal glass texture at the end. Sometime I'll change it to support 16 (Max I can do on a single block).
Default blockID is 100, and can be changed in the created props file. Recipe is a single normal piece of glass, and can be turned back into glass the same way.
Punch it to change to the next texture, and crouch+punch to go backwards.

Also, the saw on the crafting bench seems to be missing an upper support.
Thanks, Wolfkit.
The support was there but kinda vanished when I resized the texture. I'll have a go at fixing it.
Thanks, guys :smile.gif:
I appreciate the support.
Here's an update that should stop the saw from falling off.

I've added an interrupted version of the planks. I still prefer the long planks, though :smile.gif:
Thank you :smile.gif:

Plus, you have to do it now 'cause XSSheep and Glimmar told it you was good.
Yes! And it's done.
