I can see that you didnt play back in the good ol' days.
:wink.gif:
I miss playing minecraft and running through the bright green fields, without the ability to skip night, or the ugly wildgrass... sigh those were the best days of minecraft.
This pack should have the old default skin, the old Mc logo, the old bricks and the old furnace.
Apart from those "issues" it's pretty good.
Yeah, i've thought about that.
I'll make a version with the old brick, furnace, leaf, grass and cobble, :smile.gif:
Maybe even the old logo :biggrin.gif: (will be a little pixelated though)
but what about making tall grass/shrubs invisible? Is it a stupid idea?
dude great texture pack but can you change the pine trees and the birch trees leaves lighter because it ruins the whole point of making it lighter
I'm really sorry, but Minecraft makes the leaf textures for birch/pine darker and it can't be changed with just a texture pack. :sad.gif:
It would need to modificate some of Minecraft's files, and i don't know how to do that.
Besides, it's also not allowed to distribute modified Minecraft files.
Anyways, the darker textures makes you not get confused over birch vs oak leaf :wink.gif: (They have the same texture, just birch is darker by default)

In fact it is a texture-related issue that can be fixed, it's in the misc folder of the textures, named "foliagecolor". You just have to make that the same color everywhere

If you took the time to look into the texture pack, you will notice that both foliagecolor.png and grasscolor.png is entirely white, so no color tint will be applied to the light green grass/leaf.

This is my new favorite thing, +10 for you :laugh.gif:
I'm getting better! It used to be 53%!
*gasp* Zoidberg plays minecraft!

This pack was made months ago, but i waited to post it until Minecraft supported custom biome colors without a patcher...

But that would confuse people.

Not really. Trees are trees. The pines might look weird, though.
Thank you!
