You say that Optifine has a "worse" randomobs and conected textures than MCpatcher, so i was wondering if you could add screenshots comparing both of them or at least describe whats the difference between using Optifine's and MCPatcher's randomobs and connected textures
Anyway, awesome texturepack/resourcepack. I just can't go back to default after using this one!
Keeping the thread alive by saying hi, also SMP are you going to continue supporting the pack as more patches will be released :)? I definately hope so
It may verywell be me, but im having some issues with the Connected textures. Mainly, sugarcane looks like flowing grass-what i assume is meant to be the top of the cane. Few other minor errors, and swapping between MCpatcher and Optifine has done little. Anyone have any ideas? (*Please quote this if you do, as i may not check back here often)

The randomizer in MCpatcher allows this resource pack to customize mods based on the biome. So you get snow zombies/creepers, desert creepers/mummies, etc. the randomizer in Optifine doesn't allow for this, and simply randomizes the skins entirely. so you get bright white creepers in the forest, etc.
I suspect (but don't know for sure) that this is why SMP prefers MCpatcher, as it's an amazing option for the mobs (jungle creepers are super camoflauged). And since the CTM's in these two applications work differently, the textures don't always look right in optifine (notably the glass). That being said, if you are a big fan of optifine, you can easily remove the extra mob skins, or just deal with strange randomization. other than a few graphical oddities, this works fine with optifine.
I really hope SMP isn't letting this go. I love this pack.
This is probably an optifine bug, but just making sure:Regular glass/glass pane do not utilize CTM..
If you want it fixed do this:
Open the resource pack
Open the files in sequence assets>minecraft>mcpatcher>[20] Glass >[0] - Glass
Open the Glass_Frame_Vanilla.properties file
Delete all the text in it
Replace it with this
For the dark oak double slabs, try doing something like laquered darkwood for floors (long planks) and wall panels.
Also, yay for ferns that look like ferns again!

In combination with optifine / right resourcepack it's a great way to improve vanilla MC, would love to your textures being copatible with this.

It's a pretty simple fix for me to do on my own (just rename them each other's names and stick them back in), but just wanted to let you know.
