Perhaps you could make it so you can see the original textures for things you haven't textured yet? that way its easier to see them in inventory. Also, It would be nice if you re-textured the enchanting book and effects.

I'd like to throw out a thank you to all who support my pack(s). I have been busy IRL for quite some time now and I don't know when I will be able to update this pack. I do plan to continue it, but for now I have more IRL stuff to do. I'll keep you all posted!

I've also been playing a lot of Feed the Beast lately. Would have been really nice if you could have expanded synthetic reality to supporting all the mods in there, but I realize that is simply way to much to ask for.
Hi, is there an update to this texture pack somewhere else? Maybe it was remade under another name or somebody continued it under another name?
Or is there a similar one to this anywhere?

Not that I think so, but DrFrozenFire is going to continue this pack once he gets his IRL stuff done(if you ask me, that's very hard, but life is unfortunately hard for most people)

I am sorry to say that it would take too much time to get this pack converted because for some reason it doesn't work properly. However, I have begun work on a new pack, cleverly titled Synthetic Reality II. I will let you all know that I plan to only support it in 512x (at least to begin with). I will be making heavy use of the "repeat" function of CTM, and the file-size will be huge. Because of this, when an update is put out, I will release a patch instead and give instructions on how to make sure it is properly applied. This is going to be a grand undertaking, but the result so far has been incredible. This scale of detail and clarity in Minecraft is unprecendented and I assure you that if HD is what you like, then Synthetic Reality II is going to be for you. A new thread will be posted for it as soon as I have a workable release. Note that there will be some textures re-used from the original Synthetic Reality pack.
Is there any mod support? I'd love it if you could add Backpacks, Ironchests, and Better Furnaces.
