I'm about to try this pack. I don't know why literally EVERYONE says there's something wrong! I'm just HAPPY that my computer
works on 64x because then it would be (me no say word)
I'm not quite sure what you are saying here, but I think it's a compliment?
Wow, this texture pack is going to be some serious competition to LB photo realism once it's fully compatible with 1.2.5 as my favorite texture pack! Great job
This is truely an awesome pack...although the 256x256 is VERY grainy..kind of gives me a headache, dunno if it's my pc or not...
Is that how it should look?
The text is also kind of hard to read...didn't catch the shot before my mod text disappeared
On another note, I absolutely LOVE how you did your glowstone

Higher-res packs tend to be more grainy because of the additional detail. Monitors with a lower res. also tend to be more grainy. I suggest you use optifine and turn mip-mapping up to about 2-3. Here is a link to the forum for optifine. I suggest to get either Optifine AA edition, if you need more anti-aliasing, Optifine Multicore edition if you have a multi-core processor to get faster loading for worlds when you open them, or Optifine Smooth edition if you have lots of lag spikes. http://www.minecraft...e__hl__optifine

That's actually much grainier than what I see. Are you using an HD monitor?
Also, thanks for the compliment. As far as the font is concerned though, I did include an alternate. Fonts are a very time-consuming process to make.

Thank you for those instructions to the viewers, I appreciate it
Thanks never knew what the mip-mapping did
Now i can experience this awesome texture pack even more without it being grainy
I used to use optifine but I have been using the patcher for a while now. I am almost finished with the pack, and when I am finished, I will work on mod support.
First, this pack looks amazing. Second, I'm new to HD packs and this thread is incredibly long. I tried the search function but didn't see the answer I was looking for, so to anybody who can answer:

How do I choose and activate alternate textures?
Thanks.
What you need to do is open up photoshop or gimp, set up a grid of 256x256, have the cursor snap to grid and select+copy+paste from alternates into the terrain.png
I hope this helps. I wish there were an easier way! :/
I'm currently working on a community based 128x128 HD Realistc Texture Project. Would be AWESOME to have some of your terrain and item tiles in this project, at least the diamond block texture and your gold/iron ingots.
Do I get permission to use them ?
With best regards,
_zombiehunter
PS: to you for your Photorealism Pack. Nice job !
Thanks for the compliment! I am fine with you using them in said pack so long as my textures are listed with an attribution to me
Hi guys there's a video for this Texture Pack, you can use it!
Looks good! There is a small problem with the download link listed in the description of the video though. It is an unauthorized re-hosting of my work.
Ok, the bow when it is pulled is not visible then it turns into an axe.
the shovel looks a lot like a spear
the sword is a dagger
I made the stone sword a dagger to fit with the realism: No one is going to be running around with a 200lb stone broadsword strapped to their backs.
I tried to make the shovel more pointed in order to look like a real shovel that tears through dirt like a hot knife through butter.
I need to fix the bow animation though.
Constructive criticism? Well, you should shut yourself away in a little solitary place and focus your entire life on texturing. Occasionally leaving for inspiration with 5 minute breaks every 14.36 hours.
Thanks for the compliment! IS there anything you would like me to work on and include in the next update?
