As you probably know the new update (1.6) is coming out later this week, and it contains hatches, craftable maps and fully growing grass. I was wondering when you are going to re-skin them as I can't stand the look of default anymore. :happy.gif:

Well, the way I do things for my pack is: I take the default textures, and use them as filler until I can make my own textures. Count on the pack to be updated as soon as 1.6 comes around. And stay tuned, I make updates frequently when new updates come around.
This texture pack is awesome. I've always liked the 32x32 RPG packs, but never wanted nor could be bothered to patch Minecraft. So, thanks for this. Also, kudos on taking note on my suggestion to improve the diamond tools (they're clearly diamond now). Just a suggestion, but perhaps change coal to match the other ores-just change it to black.
I'm actually changing all of the ores to look more like the coal...
Okay everyone, I currently placed the default items from 1.6 into my texture pack. I'll begin to make my own over time. If I missed anything, let me know and I'll get right on it. Thanks.
Awesome update. At the moment, all I'd recommend doing is making the ores all look the same (just different colours). Leave the map as it is, really, so that we can see how others will see it on an SMP server. Trapdoors could be changed into a lot of things really.
I've chosen to figure this out later. I promise you that I will change the ores and trapdoor very soon. I might even do the "dead shrubs".
But er, if its a 32x and 16x mixed, then surely it's got to be one or the other, it cant be both O.o
sure can, if you download the 32x32 texture default from the texture pack store it keeps the 16x16. in other words you can still do the 16x16 within the 32x32. just have to make 1 square with 4 pixels. its a confusing process.
Hey Clip! nice to see u again! i just got a new comp and it can run 32x textures (and above) but i just wanted you to know that even though i CAN run these HD packs i still stick with yours (and sheeps :tongue.gif:) 16p pack. it takes much more skill and finess to make 16x textures look good and i respect ytou guys for that. i also like the whole *retro* feel of the game and the 16x textres retain that nicely. so anyways, keep up the good work and HAVE A GOOD UPDATE, i really like the new coal btw too! thanks for your awesome pack!

It takes very little knowledge to replace a dirt texture with whatever you want. :tongue.gif:
