Well, it's not really making one per se, but yeah.
I'm a total idiot when it comes to doing things on the computer, besides foruming and pixeling. I need someone's help with making my texture pack downloadable. I'm getting pretty far with my texture pack and would like to share it with you guys.
Get a program like winRAR (in fact, just get winRAR, the trial version lasts forever despite the said 40-day warning) and put all of your texture files in a zip archive (unzip the contents of a complete texture pack to know what it looks like).
Once you have your textures in a zip archive, find a site that hosts files for download. I personally use DropBox, but Mediafire is also pretty common.

"Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say that there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe." -Frank Zappa

Thank you! SO, how exactly would I put my files into a zip archive?
Oh, and Turts, that's not at all what I meant. I said I needed to know how to make it downloadable, not how to make one. I even mentioned I was getting far with mine, too.

Diamonds to whoever can help me.
