Not entirely sure a trap door texture is needed. I used wooden planks as the same texture so its more hidden. Sadly the way it works it kinda sucks as a real trap, plus its obvious.
Oh yeah, tom had the thread locked, he said since he's kinda retiring there's no real point in having an updated thread open, it would just confuse people.
Good news is I fixed the trap door, similar to discoclyde's but with my own design. Fixed the mobs(For some reason my pack was using the default animals. Still working on fixing the other textures right now but it seems the new tall grass is off centered(notches bug not mine)
Is the texture pack updated? I see that you retitled it as 1.6, but I don't see any changes. Anyway, I love the texture pack, and I'm using it again.

Fully updated now. I added some really minor temp fixes but I just finished tweaking to make sure it looked good enough. next textures are subject to change but right now I couldn't find or think of anything that would look better.
you aren't going to be able to put handles on it...
When UP, the door puts the part of the picture with the handle on the top, which is ok.
But when DOWN, the handle is ALWAYS on the east, and the hinges side always on the west, regardless of which way the hatch is set to open.
I noticed, kinda sucks. Wish it worked like normal doors. Anyway! It works fine as long as you face it in the right direction, may try coming up with a more uniform texture.
maybe something like a ring handle in the middle, so no matter which direction it faces, it looks like you open from the middle. And have it so it falls when the door is open. (when closed it doesn't matter which side the ring is on, it's flat)
I can't think of anything but to remove the hinges though. You could put on all four sides, but I think it'd make things worse :sad.gif:

having in the center wouldn't really make sense, its like putting a door knob in the middle of the door, don't worry i'll think of something.
don't know if this is MCPatcher, or the texture pack, but Netherrack looks like flowing water, and flowing water/lava are both un-animated (but the right texture).
It was MCPatcher. Not checking Better Grass messed it up I guess.

as for the ring, it's not efficient as a leverage point for opening doors, but it does work. Also, I guess in my mind I was thinking of grabbing the ring to pull the door up from the hinge side (which I guess is a wall...), more then swing it open sideways.
Anyway, the text pack normally looks great so I have faith you'll get it looking good before long. I don't mean to troll. just trying to help :biggrin.gif:
