Shining Force is epic and so is this tecture pack! :tongue.gif:
DIAMONDS FOR YOU!!!!
Thank you everyone so much for liking this texture pack. When I started out, I had no idea it would take off in popularity like it has. Getting very near to 30,000 downloads, I'm amazed.
Updated for Beta 1.9 pre-release v4, made compatible with Industrial Craft, Build Craft, and Red Power2, also created a Shining Force font:
Thank you for actually doing something with the armor. I'm constantly amazed at how many people do NOTHING with what I consider to be one of the best places for artistic expression. I use a bash pack, but you can bet it'll have some of your work in it. Thanks for working on this!
Congratulations :biggrin.gif: you've earned: +3 rep, my support, and a download :biggrin.gif:
Edit: I freaking love it!!! it makes my world look alot better! continue working on it
Could you please provide links for the earlier versions of the pack?
I'm not sure why you would like to download earlier versions. I have all earlier versions of my texture packs saved on my hard-drive, perhaps if you explain why it is necessary for you to have them I can put up links. As it is, I prefer to take the old ones off of my MediaFire account just for the sake of neatness.

WOW!! Thank you so much, that really means a lot to me. You can count on me keeping this thing updated and whenever I get new ideas I will be adding them. Also, strangely enough, I've been told by multiple people that when they use this texture pack it reduces lag.
How are there OVER 29,000 DOWNLOADS!!! When It barely even has that much views?
Not saying its bad or anything. I kinda like it.
Well, this was my first texture pack, and I first posted it back in April. I also have it up for download on Planet Minecraft, and I keep track of the downloads that I get very carefully. So as of now, with 35,653 views on this topic, I am at 30,121 downloads.
Here is an image of the textures using the mod "Connected Textures". Also, a comparison of the dirt with the recently changed gravel texture.
I absolutely LOVE the creeper! Yogurt/Jogurt may only be the useless hamster, but he added a fun touch to the game. I've been I Shining Force fan for as long as I remember and I use the pack all the time, Keep up the great work!
ALSO I think you should make the diamond texture into the same thing texture as on the block, you know the little star-shaped piece

Thank you so much. My inspiration for making Jogurt a creeper was that I found him to be equally annoying in Shining Force as Creepers are in Minecraft. :laugh.gif: I will probably do as you've requested and change the diamond over in my next update.
This seems entirely possible. However, I haven't actually played much of 1.0 myself, I'm still running 1.8.1 with loads of mods whenever I play. So I will have to atually check out the egg and get an idea of how I will make it look like Domingo egg, great idea though, and thanks for the feedback.
YES! i love this game. i have it for sega, in sega smash pack for my comp. and on my ipod touch. i thank you kind sir for making this, the best rpg style game ever, come to minecraft.
Am... am I really seing this?!?!?! Mod compatibility with like 7 diff mods!!!!! Wow! This isntatly means this texture pack is the best :biggrin.gif:
Hey, thank you. In creating mod compatibility my first goal was to aim for adding as many different popular mods as I could. In doing that I only tried to give my texture packs enough added textures to make each mod blend in well with the textures of that specific texture pack. I didn't add tons of graphics for each mod or retexture every single part of the mod. If there are glaring aspects that I have left out, I welcome comments to help shore up wherever mod compatibility is lacking. And of course, I try to watch out for mods updating and as soon as possible include the newest graphics so that nothing is missing from the game when using my texture packs with any of the mods.
Yeah, I've used the various Mario based texture packs which have been made. I don't know if any of those are up to date right now, but in my experience they tended to be a little bit more 'shiny' looking. But you're right about the resemblance, I'm sure its due mostly to the fact that Mario and this 'Shining Force' share an era in gaming. Shining Force a game for the Sega Genesis and Mario for the various Nintendo systems.
Thank you for your download and for the time you took to comment.
One of the thing that caught my eye was the mdos suppourt.
And the fact that all your other texture packs have mod suppourt as well!
Plus the textures are nice!
Mind = Blown!

Thank you very, very much.
Updated texture pack for Beta 1.9 version 6, and adjusted water to match the water in Shining Force.
