AMAZING texture pack! I love it. If you don't mind, I will make a banner for this and post it here (or PM you it) and you could use it for the sig banner for this pack.

Once jeb finishes wolfs you can have Smithers release the hounds.
Will the finished version have a custom water/lava? I can understand if you don't want to include it so as not to require the HD texture fix, and I'd just use the HD Texture Fix on another pack to use their water and then pick your pack in the Texture Packs options menu thingy, but I would certainly love to see what you'd do with it!
I don't really want to mess with the HD patcher when the game is still under such heavy development, where regular updates break all mods. I may reconsider this when the modding API comes out, though. So I might do custom water and lava in the end, but it would be a very last step for sure.

It's interesting, but I'm not sure I'd be able to pull it off convincingly with the low texture resolution, or the fact that the ghast is really just a cube. XD I'm not sure yet what to do with the ghast, though, so I might have to try a few different things. :smile.gif:

You can use a higher resolution texture, like 64x64 or 32x32. It actually works since the Ghast is so huge.

I know, I did it already for the boat and the minecart. :biggrin.gif:
I'm in fact planning on using double-res textures on all mobs, not just the ghast.
A double-res ghast is still pretty low-res if you ask me, though. XD
Quadruple-res might work... I'll have to look into it.
But my main concern with the stitched face idea is that it might look too random when used with a box-shaped model. It's the kind of monster that would work better as a higher polygon model, I think. Unfortunately Minecraft doesn't support that kind of thing. I wish they kept the md3 model format support! I would run wild with it, hehe.

WOW this is SO good! You have managed to make houses look bright and cheery while still allowing caves and mines to look dark and kinda scary! I LOVE IT! Keep up the great work! :biggrin.gif:

Perhaps showing a fairly neutral part of a landscape (to provide a backdrop for text) and then a single eyecatching item that contrasts with the rest (maybe a flower or the red mushroom). I wouldn't try and cram too many things in one small banner. :smile.gif:
I like it,it's a bit similar to Eld's mixed with that strange,um-nameable style that's kind of common around here(I have no idea how to describe it,but I don't mean simple packs).

Yo dawg I heard you like playing Portal so now you can play Portal while playing Minecraft while going to Hell.

The style is very RPG, and most of the things remind me of very fantasy like games.
Yet however, it still keeps it's elegance and simplicity.
Plus, it's not another "HERP DERP SIMPLE PACK, GET ONE HERE".
So all in all, this is one of the best packs out there.
Also, thanks for the additional screenshot, ReaperOfDeath.
I hope the final version will be awesome as well :wink.gif:
I could probably incorporate (SP?) this image into the banner. What do ya think?
It's a good image, but that would make the banner very similar to SMP's texture banner that ReaperOfDeath already has in his signature.
