How does this image look the other way around? (normal Jolicraft background, darkened area for text) I think it would look better if it was more 'Jolicraft' but that's just me. :tongue.gif:
It does look awesome as is though!
One thing I love about jolicraft is not just the amazing pack itself, but it seems to have it's very own awesome community! I can't wait to see what you do with the 1.8 textures, I imagine it's going to be some pretty amazing stuff!
This. I try to change it up once in awhile with another pack but I know the community won't be as good or the updates won't be as frequent. So I come back to Andre.
Thought I'd share my first panoramic shot thanks to Domino's tutorial on his youtubes! Also my first time using photoshop so sorry if it's a little wonky!
Pardon me, good sir, but might I request a building plan from you? I simply adore the house you've built in this photograph, and would love to learn how you went about building it.
Please, if it isn't too much trouble, could you create a blueprint for this lovely abode? I would greatly appreciate it!
And Andre, I am filled with chagrin, as I still have not sent you my designs for the Aether weapons and items, but I haven't the foggiest idea of where to find some of them! If anyone knows where they are located in the Aether files, by all means let me know!
Or, better yet, email those files to me! You can find my email on my profile page.

All the textures for the aether mod are found by clicking the Jar folder (in the Aether zip file), then navigating to aether folder (at the beginning). All of the folders in the aether folder contain textures for the mod, but the items folder has all the weapons, and....well, items! Hope I helped!

Ah, yes, good effort my friend, but what I seek are the dungeon items, which I have yet to find! Items such as the Silver Bubble, Phoenix Armor, and Gummy Swet. I have yet to find this ludicrously elusive files, and instead I only find myself becoming increasing exasperated.

Hmmm..They are quite difficult to find. The gummie swet and the phoenix chest plate are in the items folder. I am still searching for the others.

I did a bit of research, and apparently the dungeon items are hidden or locked within the mod's code. I think they use colour overlays or something, so they kept those in code instead of external files. Anyways, the only stuff you can edit easily are the pngs in the items folder. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Why...those clever buggers! I'm willing to bet that they think they're just soooo smart with their new-fangled, fancy-shamcy code thingamajigs! They better not try their little shenanigans on my lawn, or I'll.....!!!
All kidding aside, I'll see if I can somehow access those files, it shouldn't prove too difficult!

P.S. You figured out what that farewell meant! I was wondering when somebody would solve that little riddle! Congratulations, have a cookie! Yay diamond cookies! :3

Actually, from what I can gather, the decision to have many sprites just be recolors of other sprites is due to the fact that Minecraft has a limited number of indices for blocks, items, and actual loaded sprites. This must have been an attempt to cut down on the number if indices used for the mod--freeing up space for additional items later on.

Haha, I didn't mean any offense towards the creators of the mod, as they've done a wonderful job! I just wish they had made it easier to edit the textures -____-
Ah well, it's not like the Aether Mod forces my computer to explode or anything......... o__O

Sorry, you're too late. I told them what you said. I'd like to see you talk your way around their wroth, when it comes upon you in the night. Then we'll see what a gentleman your corpse actually makes!
*hopes people get this meme*
10 seconds before the statue falls forward and turns the cow into 2 leather.
Ehhhh, can't say I do, sorry!
Then again, I'm not really a 'memey' person... :tongue.gif:

Love those types of towns. Very close together and it feels homey.
Looks great! This is now my iPad background.

Yeah I've always loved that house.
