Eraiya The readme says Cut, Not Extract. Silly. Now Explain this the right way. because i have no clue.
Exactly. That's what you're supposed to do.
2: Cut this entire .zip folder to the texturepacks folder under .minecraft. Make sure that you DON'T extract the files!
Cut and paste the ENTIRE .zip FOLDER to the texturepacks folder. Also, you'll need the latest version, just updated it to make it slightly better than it was before.
Another thing you can do is, as you download it, save it directly to your texturepacks folder, and that's that. Done in one step, aside from starting up Minecraft and selecting it.
Edit: This is also the second thing that's addressed in the F.A.Q. on the first post.
Thanks for the heads-up! The issue has now been fixed, and the download links have been updated. Also, could you please remove your link? Thank you. :3

You mean the image or the link?
I removed the image, but I'm keeping the link there.

Could you please remove the link? I don't think it's very nice to barge into someone's thread and advertise something you've made, and I don't think I'm asking you for a lot. I'm even taking the time to phrase this pretty politely, aren't I?

I'm not barging in. And I don't consider it advertising. I'm just sharing so people can see it, for conversation's sake. It's not hurting anything. If people like mine better, they will use it.
I was at least expecting you to comment on my pack but apparently you want to keep this thread all to yourself.
Do you want me to remove the links in my signature too?

Between updating my pack, updating the pictures, updating the description, talking to friends, restarting my IRC client, restarting my IM client, restarting Steam, selecting a new playlist to listen to, and doing my best to be polite to someone who refuses to simply take down a link that they never needed to post in the first place, I'm a bit busy right now. To me, it's barging in and advertising. To you, if you go into a place of business and the business owner asks you to leave because you're being disruptive, it doesn't matter what you think. What matters is that the owner doesn't want you there, and that instead of calling the police, he's taking the time to be polite to you by asking you to leave. Also, this is clearly advertising; there's no disputing that. As for keeping this thread all to myself, if that was the case, I wouldn't have shared this pack with thousands of people in the first place. I don't know how that one got past you, but there you have it. And as for, "I'm just sharing it so people can see it," that's what your thread exists for. You don't have to hijack mine to use it for your own purposes. I'm not doing that to yours, but at this rate, I'm seriously considering it.
TL;DR If you're really concerned with helping people, then you'll simply remove the link as asked. I'm not demanding that you do it, I'm asking politely.
Just saw the edited version of your post asking about removing the links in your signature. Clearly, reasoning does not work with you. I'm taking the high road here and getting a moderator involved, rather than stooping to your level and disgracing myself by doing the same thing to you, though I admit, I did consider doing so for awhile there.
And now, I'm off to play some games. Knowing that you're still here: take it easy.
Updated a few things, most notably equipped pumpkin helmets giving the player night vision. Almost certainly going to make a separate pack which features them alongside default graphics, making multiple packs to offer a variety of colors. Also in the process of messing around with some options to make it easier to see.
The link to the solid cobblestone version, the one that makes it a lot easier to find dungeons, has been fixed. Really, over 110 downloads of the other version without anyone saying a word about how the solid one was broken. idonteven
I would love to see a video of your pumpkin head in action. I think that is the single most innovative idea for a texture pack that I've seen yet!
Thank you very much, I'll get started on that within a couple of hours! Working on a few other, related things right now. I was inspired by a picture I saw a month or two ago of a different texture pack that used the HUD from one of the Metroid games. I was impressed, but didn't think anything of it at the time. A few days ago, a friend of mine brought that picture up, and I thought, "Why not add something similar to my texture pack, as long as it's functional?" And here we are!
That's a really odd problem, and I've never even heard of that before. I'm sorry, but I don't have any advice to offer other than to search the forums or trying Google.
Hey, I made one of these too before I saw any of these. Great minds think alike, eh?
Just to all the haters, tell them that Notch didn't intend for there to be Pagasus'...(Pegasai..Pegasus...) either.
I downlaoded yours to see how similar it is to mine.

Hey I'm having trouble with the texture pack, I put the .zip file into .minecraft/texturepacks and started up the game. I selected the x-ray texture pack from the menu and then tried to play, but it doesn't load up, Minecraft.exe just 'stops responding' and I have to close it. And now every time I open up Minecraft it stops responding instantly.
This happened before with another pack I tried and I just ended up deleting it from the folder and playing regularly, is there a way I can fix this issue? I read through, and can't find anyone else here with the same problem.
I feel my laptop is more than capable of handling the texture pack, I'm running Windows Vista 32-bit, 3GB RAM.
Any help is much appreciated, thank you. :smile.gif:
Did you happen to patch your minecraft to use a texture pack at a higher resolution? Having mixed resolution texture packs is really the only time you'll have problems when switching texture packs.
Personally, the X-ray packs are more of a crutch. What if you get marooned searching for pumpkins? Activate the xray and turn off fog then bam! Find your house.

Also, your redstone is messed up. You forgot to erase the space behind the texture.

Gritz - Thanks!
Rom - Thank you, too! I hope that answer helped 'im.
