Could I just tell a little story that I remember while playing with this pack?
I never had a Game Boy. Ok, I have an Advance and SP, but does that really compare to the good old brick?
I had a friend/older-sister-like about 6 years or so older that me. She had a rocking Game Boy color and a Pokemon Red to go with it. I'd always watch her play it, and when she finally lent it to me, it was the first ever game I've ever finished.
Despite the fact that I never had a Game Boy or Game Boy Color, this texture pack rips out memories from my heart and distills them into a substance that smells faintly of the heavens and the past.
The Game Boy is universal, no matter your age.
Thank you for this awesome pack.

Of all the texture packs I've seen, this one get the highest thumbs-up for original idea. And it was executed to perfection. Brings me back to my childhood gameboy days!!!
Attention Craftboy fans, your experience is about to get twice as genuine. No, I have not updated the texture pack yet, however... Well, give me about 10 minutes, you'll see. :smile.gif:
This is a quick, hacky version of the greyscale glsl shader, it's written like crap, but it runs fast, and it does what I intended it to, dropping down the colors displayed on the screen at any given time to the four colors in the craftboy palette. The result is slightly problematic, but can be fixed in time by editing the texture packs to be compatible. The beauty of this shader, however, is that you don't need to be using 2 bit textures for it to work. We can make highly detailed textures that will be affected by the lighting and have their color depth reduced on the fly.
final.fsh
This is the only extra file you will need.
Go to this threadand download the GLSL Shader kit. Extract it, and then navigate to */mods/shaders/contents/files/shaders/ . Remove the files that already exist in the directory, and add in my final.fsh. Run the patcher, and enjoy your genuine Craftboy Experience!

I haven't used the HD patcher in a while, so help with that can be found in their thread.

*knocks over chair*
I have been really busy this week, and didn't get the PM.
The 1.3 pack is done, and up in the original post!
It'll go on Filesmelt when the site decides to work
I also added the beds n' stuff to chocolatekirby's darker pack. I quite like the current (lighter) one, so right now there's 2 packs!

Anyway, mirror links fixed and Filesmelt links now up!
p.s. That CraftBoy pack/title image was broken when I last looked at this thread, so it's not in the pack.
i also realised that, so i changed the hosting site for it.

The 1.6 update made the grass tops the right colours now!
1.7.1 - See the original post!
If anyone could point me to a Minecraft Classic pack (or terrain file), I could get that option added to the packs!
