the only thing is tho u need my mod for it to work as a tint other wise it changes the alpha level to 100
but i could get the mod updated within two mins
check my signiture
you could always do a version without the tint and a version wiht it
I'll certainly look into it. I'm not sure what glass I even have currently because I never thought about it.
Very nice mod! Since it is a preference thing, I'll probably put up an additional download link and add you to the mod recommendations.
all i have to say sir, is you are AMAZING. my eyes just had sex with the screen, and now little eye/screen mutant babies are running rampant on my desk. FREAKIN GORGEOUS texture pack sir, freakin gorgeous.

I got all my friends to play minecraft.
Which means I got 0 people to play.

MY friends actually realize that real life has better graphics than any game, and that gameplay is infinitely better. Thus they all play Minecraft.
I love your cobblestone :smile.gif: wish I could do it in my set but I'm trying to stay vanilla good work I'm loving the glass I'm looking into the mod now :smile.gif:
I like your ores very much. Is there a chance that you have the actual ores as a seperate file that you can share with me please? I'd like to try to insert them into my own compilation pack that is only available to my wife and myself.
What I mean by the ores themselves, is bascially the ores before they were attached to the stone background.

Actually, I do have the ores before I attached them to the stone. I can try saving as a .png, but I'm not sure if it will keep the transparency on the edges. It's raw form was pdf, so if you have PS or a similar program, that would work.
EDIT:
These are the minerals I placed onto my cobblestone. I did alot of touching up to make them part of the stone, but I hope they work. http://www.mediafire.com/?s02nyj8nuzcb80r

I liked youre Pack a lot, abut after a while i found it much to dark, so i changed lots of textures and created my own compilation, lol.
I'm currently working on lightening the textures without losing too much detail. Good to know your using my textures in a compilations. =)

Nice. =)
Your mod was basically what got me started on making a HD pack. So thank you and I still love your pack.
Glad you like it. I haven't experienced any crashes myself. I could be the new BL & BG isn't compatible with the new MC update. He may have updated it, I'll check into possible reason.
EDIT: looks like I was just using the wrong file, woopsy... but I'm not 100% sure my problems are solved... just no more crashing... still... should the wild grass be apparent from day1? Or does it need time to grow?
Can you post a more detailed install guide? The one in the main post is okay, but I'm having issues.
I'm trying to install all your recomended mods along with the daxnitros shader mod... wonder if you have go this combo to work with wild grass... I have yet to get it to work with wild grass at all, with or without the depth of field mod...
Do you install the texture pack with mcpatcher OR add textures directly into the minecraft.jar?
In what order should other mods be installed?
Is it, Texture Pack> mcpatcher 128x128 > MrMods >Mrmods + wild grass > & if I so dare...GLSL mod???
Some of these will overwrite the other mods... I can't seem to get the wild grass mod to be included in the final product. I'm not blaming or anything, but I would feel better if there was a clear cut order present in the first post... Thanks and all , I really love this pack, best so far in my opinion. Keep up the good work1
okay, so this is where I am now. MAybe... just ran into more trouble, but so far..
First you need to run the MCpatcher, no need to select a texture pack, but select 128x128 and patch.
Next, you need to run MrmMods patcher.
After that, you need to open the Wildgrass mod and copy bt ht qp files but leave the terrain.png.
Now, open the LB Texture folder as a RAR and within winrar, open the folder and paste the three files from the grass mod.
Then select all those files and paste them into the minecraft.jar using winrar.
Finally, I'm going to see if I can get daxnitros mod to work with all this working...
EDIT2 UGH! It's all wrong... I can get all the mods mentioned here working, but I still can't get the depth of field mod working as well... GRRRr... (working)

Could be that you just have so many mods running at the same time, lol. I run my game using Mmods, wild grass, and ofcourse the hd patch fixer. I've been messing around with a glass mod and it's been fully compatible so far. I might just have to keep it. Additional mods with overlapping attributes are likely to cause crashes and I hope you find that happy medium

Yeah, I have thought of that, but daxnitros has made it clear that he/she is interested in making the shader mod compatible with as much as possible. I mean, I'll try it without simple map, but the lighting is kind of a must, and the grass is a must, and the depth of field is a must (it makes minecraft perform better as well as making it look like a million bucks)... I haven't tried it without simplemap. So, I'm going to get on that...

I've actually never heard of that depth of field (I don't get out much), but it sounds promising. I'll have to start using it from now on.
EDIT:
Can't help you much with the depth of field issue. I have an ATI graphics card and that mod seems to make everything explode. =(
EDIT: IT WORKS WITH SIMPLE MAP TOO!!!
I am one happy camper!!!
I'm going to post some screenshots!
Thank you!! You're method works. I guess it's all in the order of install. :wink.gif:
Posting screens is highly encouraged as I enjoy other people flaunting my pack, lol
Not the best possible, but yeah... EDIT: May crash if the draw distance is left on FAR... Can't seem to get around it... May just need more ram, not sure.
Just a heads up scuttles the reason why minecraft enhanced never got better glass was because those mods have a dealbreaker, you cannot see clouds through them
Huge glaring issue that me and a lot of others can't get over, I made nice awesome windows for my set a while back and again tried them and sure enough, no clouds, I'm working with a mod developer on a fix for it we'll see what happens.
just letting you know about it, before people start telling you, your stuffs broken :smile.gif:
and the bloom effect imo is a better effect than the depth of field you might be able to get that working on your ati, on the subject of GLSL
ok thx
Very nice. I'll get working on those after this update. Your download link 1.2_2 compatible?
EDIT:
Was just playing around with the mod and I'm finding some pleasing results. Update should be released tomorrow
Im glad you like it and it looks really good

YIPPIE@!!!!
I got it working.... I kept getting mixed up & you should check out the depth of field mod, some say they don't like the curvature distortion, but I cant get enought of it! Here is thread.

once I got the proper files it worked fine when done in this order.
1) MCpatcher (128x128)
http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=46173
2)MrMMods (going to see if simple map will work)
http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=55700
3) Your texture comp with WildGrass (not the 'vaanilla) mod merged into YOUR texture file applied to minecraft.jar

4) Depth of field mod (must be extracted in .minecraft folder to work) installed (windows)

Absolutely stunning! Hopefully he fixes that ATI issue so I can enjoy that blur effect as well.
