i have the same problem with a lower render distance. i think its a 1.8.1 related problem. i think its the new light engine that messes smething up with the fog and hd textures
Still not having the issue. It may be computer related to the 1.8.1 update. I'll see if I can test it on other computers. 1.9 is just around the corner so it may not be so bad.
My guess is that the Minecraft team is trying to push these updates to make ready for November when the game officially goes off beta. I've even read about 1.10 being released soon. These guys are sure working fast. Either way, keep up the good work Scuttles and don't get discouraged about the updates. Your texture pack is awesome and you won't hear me complaining about anything.
I'm not really sure what's going on but after i installed this texture pack one part of it doesn't work. All my chests have the default minecraft texture applied to them. This is the only block that doesn't have the LB Texture applied to it.

It's not implemented yet and chests are not the only thing unchanged.
Since the last update I have notice weird artifacts on all wooden tools and some stone tools too.
Understandable. It's a few little pixels that weren't otherwise unnoticeable to the editor. Most likely remnants from flipping, moving, or otherwise tweaking the texture whilst in editing. I've had that problem too. So, yeah, easiest thing he can do is to highlight the texture with a non-inclusive color and then proceed to erase all areas that didn't turn into said highlight. Just takes time...
Hello Skuttles i know you may not read this but i will still post i have just made an account to leave a measage i love this texture pack i think it is the best out there period i know u are busy so take as much time as you need the loyal fans will wait for quality the only thing i ask is for 1 thing how the heck u instal 512 texture packs in the control panel i put a 4096 gigs of ram and on mc patcher the same i mean i have 16 gig ram ati 6950 2gig and 6 core amd at 3.33 with 6 threading what did i do wrong and yes i used the new mcpatcher and everything but keep it up dont give up and remember people perfection takes time so let him be

I have noticed that with ATi Cards. X128 and higher LB Photo Realism Texture Packs don't work unless you have 64 Bit Java installed.
thanks for all your hard work! The way minecraft should be played. Question tho, im guessing your doing them from lowest to highest for the bit count? been running 256 in 1.73 amazing lol. since the recent updated tho i have been running default tex pack. I decided to get your pack again but seems at the moment there is 16 and 32. just curious on your plans for getting all the different resolutions worked on. thanks again for the amazing job
I know this is stupid, but I have a question. I've downloaded the x512 texture pack and the .bat file to help it run. However I'm stumped on where to place the .bat file. Do I just drop it into my .minecraft folder or does it go somewhere specific? Without the .bat file I get the minecraft has run out of memory error, and I'm hoping that the .bat file will fix this.

The .bat file should be in same place as the minecraft.exe which it is likely your desktop.

love that you got back but i run the 256 flawlessly like 300 fps and i do have java 64 bit on a 64 os 1.7 for the 64 bit java and the 32 bit version so if u can help that would be great
Far objects look really busy and disturbing to the eyes. I don't remember the computer graphics term for it, but there should be a way to make them less unappealing by fiddling around with OpenGL. Is there a mod or something for that?

Actually this is why I came here to post. I've been using LB RPG Realism 0.8.2 with MC 1.7.3 and OptiFine. Worked great.
Just updated to MC 1.8.1 and LB RPG Realism 0.9.0 and now I'm having this problem. Its not easy to describe so Here come the screenshots.
MC 1.7.3, LB RPG Realism 0.8.2, OptiFine 1.7.3
(works fine)
MC 1.8.1, LB RPG Realism 0.9.0, MCPatcher 2.1.1
(Note the difference between the close water and the distant water. Also the stone walls in the distance and the grass as well)
It's a lot more noticeable on the "busy" stones like cobble stone.
MC 1.7.3, LB RPG Realism 0.8.2, OptiFine 1.7.3
(works fine)
MC 1.8.1, LB RPG Realism 0.9.0, MCPatcher 2.1.1
(See how the cobblestone in the foreground is fine but that in the distance (near the crosshairs) looks awful.)
so im not a pro at any of this just have a lot of it know how but i think it might be the porting over he might have not got it completely ported yes it works but not to 100% its just a stand in for now just be patient till it really releases
oh and may be when Optifine releases it can fix that issue so it can be on lb side or mcpatcher / optifine side well have to find out it should be coming out today

The only good way to play the x512 is to use the .bat file. It automatically allocates memory for you as well.
Hey, i don't know if it is already up somewhere, but if it isn't can you make a download for the "28 Days Later" Textures? Thanks.
Hmmm... I really should do that, lol
It's by no means a texture pack as everything looks broken in a Minecraft world, but certainly has some usable textures for mix and matching.
The feature is called "Mipmapping" and it's not a problem with this texture pack, it's just that Mipmapping hasn't been integrated into Minecraft. I doubt it ever will be unless Mojang changes their mind about the native HD Texture Pack support, because on lower resolution texture packs, Mipmapping is not really needed. Also, Minecraft is still in Beta stage, which means that not all the features have been added yet, so maybe it will be integrated at a later time, who knows... :tongue.gif:
Until then, I highly recommend Optifine, a mod which really improves the look and feel of Minecraft. The only problem is that, being a really powerful mod, Optifine always takes quite some time to be updated to the latest version, especially after a huge feature patch like 1.8. So just be patient until it is updated and give it a try, it'll be worth it.
Actually i just finished some more testing and you are right. Its OptiFine's mipmapping feature that fixes it.
But I would argue that even the default textures badly need it... after taking a good solid look at it.
Screenshots:
MC 1.7.3, Default Textures, OptiFine 1.7.3 with max mipmapping
MC 1.8.1, Default Textures, *no mods or patches at all*
Any way... Guess for now I'll continue on with MC 1.7.1 till the new OptiFine comes out. Disregard my earlier inquiry.
Looks pretty awesome, why would you want to do anything?
Anyway, it seems as if you are running out of memory.

Wow, I have to boss up this month, lol
Thank for understanding. :wink.gif:
Just realized you've been active lately. What have you been up to?
that would be nice

MC 1.8.1, Default MineCraft Textures, MCPatcher 2.1.1
(but, oddly, not here...)
I've tried with no mods as well (well no mods but MCPatcher). Same result.
It also doesn't seem to happen with the default textures. Any ideas what might be causing it?
EDIT: forgot to mention... in all cases I'm using the x256 textures except in the case of the default textures

I will look into this. I was very sloppy with those tools and I'm sure I can easily fix it.

Thanks. I really appreciate the support. =)
