You're not suppose to put it in your bin folder. Open the minecraft.jar located in your bin folder with winrar then drag the texture pack files from winrar into your minecraft.jar then it should replace the regular texture. After that , download an hd patcher it should display 128x and click patch and you're good to go.

Thank you for the explanation I got it to work. This is by the far the best texture pack I have seen the only fault I have seen so far is that the Diamond pickaxe has a little floating pixel in front of it. I realize this is far from a big deal but I thought it might help to give some feedback. Everything else is perfect though.

Thank you for the feedback, I'll be sure to fix that in the next update.
Hey, I made this lava texture from scratch and I'm not quite sure if it's "lava" enough. Critique is welcome and, if anyone is willing enough, some people could help be in this agonizing process.
You won't have to make the texture seamless, as I could just do it in minutes, but I really want this texture pack to be amazing.
Maybe a bit more like that ignore the bubbles[/quote]
You seem to always have the most constructive criticism. Thank you for standing by this pack. Anyway, this what that "cheesy" lava looked like when making it seamless. I'll put the heat haze in later once I get a final form up and ready.
I'm liking the rocky surface with lava cracks, though. It might be easier to make it look natural and more realistic. I can try to make the reds more of a brownish tint and make them look like their popping out more.

Thx Cant wait to see the final product. The "cheesy" lava looks gud tho but does look slighty tiled. But it is certainly getting there.
I like your texture package a lot, but I had to stop using it. when mining the caves were just way too dark, and sometimes the minerals didn't stand out (brightness) and I would sometimes miss them.
Other than that I likey! Just wish you had a lighter version! :smile.gif:

Thanks for the feedback and I'll try and lighten the stones a bit. I was attempting to go for realism, but if it's affecting game play, things need to be changed.
what would you say about tinted glass for your texture pack?
something like that
Not a bad idea. =)
What color tint you thinking? A light shade of gray or blue, etc?
the only thing is tho u need my mod for it to work as a tint other wise it changes the alpha level to 100
but i could get the mod updated within two mins
check my signiture
you could always do a version without the tint and a version wiht it

I'll certainly look into it. I'm not sure what glass I even have currently because I never thought about it.
Very nice mod! Since it is a preference thing, I'll probably put up an additional download link and add you to the mod recommendations.

It looks cool but it looks a bit cheesy like actually cheesy when you cook it lol maybe make it look a bit more liquidy in some places

Thanks, it's been a long road to get there. I'm attempting to make it more seamless and flow together better.

I decided to lighten the stone a bit for a more enjoyable mining experience. Comments are welcome. New patch coming soon!
