me too! i clicked LB, then momentarily white box with stuff im guessing, then CRASH! help plox!!!!! D:
Have you tried the memory allocation for java at the top of the OP? Make sure you've run the patcher too, and that the amount of memory is the same in the patcher options and the java settings. That's what fixed it for me.
I'm experiencing the error where things like equipment and other inventory items are just white squares, which I'm guessing has to do with running out of memory. However, I've allocated 1024M in the java options. In-game, it has about 900MB allocated and is only using about 300MB, so I don't really see how it could be running our of memory.
I'm getting a solid 60-80 FPS otherwise, this is just the only problem I'm having.
Edit: I changed it so 2048M, then later I got the "Has run out of memory!" message. Any advice? Maybe closing other programs?
I'm on a mac and when I download it it is automatically a folder, do I need to zip it up?
I'm unfamiliar with Macs, but it is required to be in a .zip for the game to recognize it as a texture pack so zipping it back up hopefully will work. :wink.gif:
This looks amazing. I just have one question. In many of the pics and the video you posted, the textures get, perhaps, blurry at a distance (sort of like it is out of focus - the way it should be I expect). But on my game, I don't seem to get that. It's as if the textures try to stay sharp even from afar, and it makes the textures that are further away look sort of grainy. Is there some sort of setting for this? Perhaps I'm just imagining it, lol. Good work though, I must say.
I'll attempt to upload an screenshot...

hey can i request a working 256 version with the old yellow and brown glowstone? the new glowsotne is the only thing i dont like about the new one, the rest is perfect
I have the 256X texture pack but minecraft is now so laggy it is 100% unplayable. I have 4G of RAM and allocated 2G of memory, and it didn't change anything. I have a 64 bit Sony Vaio laptop running windows 7. Do you have any suggestions?
EDIT: Now I can't open any worlds at all because I do not have enough memory.
ANOTHER EDIT :smile.gif:: Okay.....Now I can atleast open the world again but than minecraft freezes.
A THIRD EDIT: I downloaded the 64 bit java and now when I try to open my worlds minecraft crashes :smile.gif:.
I downloaded it and got it working but...still found 1 immediate problem. My bed looks weird. The sides of it are see-through. :sad.gif: I used the patcher so...idk.

I have that and I have been using it for HD packs for awhile. Do I have to re-download it/re-patch the texture pack?
With every update of Minecraft you need to repatch the game. I'd redownload it to make sure you've got the latest version and patch it again. =)

Shouldn't it be like [1.7_01] LB Photo Realism, 1.7 Update!
Was quite a great vid. It really boosted the popularity of this pack as well. =)
That is an odd error. Have you updated your Java recently?

Make sure you're using the HD patcher.
Fixed. =D
Also, the description in-game still says 5.3.5, lol
Price I pay to quickly put out an update. I'll work on the refinements later on.

Opened minecraft with the launcher however, and all the items and tools are white boxes, but the terrain is fine.
