Seriously, I love this pack and I hate being without it. In my opinion Notch should just make Xeno the default pack. It does everything Notch aims for, except more polished and professional looking.
I do unfortunately have a problem though. I downloaded this ages ago and was happily playing until yesterday when I returned home to find that minecraft had updated to 1.3. Now this wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that my saves seem to have reverted to before I installed this texture pack (can't be sure but its the only explanation I can come up with). Even my backup saves which I keep in a separate folder (past problems have taught me to be prepared), still end up reverting. I can only conclude that it has something to do with not having the texture pack installed for 1.3 though why that would be the case I'm not sure.
Regardless I am hoping that if you would be so kind as to update your texture pack that it might fix my problem.
If not then I suppose ill have to start all over again.
Changelog Feb 23rd Able to be used with the Feb 22nd Update.
Creeper and Ghast textures. (The ghast's skull is silhouetted through its skin. :smile.gif:)
Fixed some paintings to look correct, as the original paintings were just scaled down images. (will do more later.)
Fixed a Xenocontendi error where I forgot the note particles.
Made the Xenocontendi ice translucent.
Made the Xenocontendi sandstone tile more smoothly.
Made the Xenocontendi glass prettier.
Possibly more but I've probably forgotten.

Regardless thanks for the great texture pack.
That's very odd, but I doubt my pack was the cause of it. Texture packs only deal with the graphical files of the minecraft.jar, which in itself, isn't even related to that /save files. I'm not sure what caused that, but I can tell you it wasn't caused by the pack.

It's not the texture packs fault. Invade you didn't know, minecraft is using a new save file format and everything must be changed into the new format. Thats your problem, the system is probably not working perfect. I would wait for a patch or something

Aha. I couldn't remember exactly when I updated to this texture back from the default but i figured it was around that time and it was the only thing that made sense to me.
I still have my backup save so ill just wait for a patch or update and work on my new world which i started last night. It has lots of cactus's, but unfortunately very few trees.
Anyway thanks for your help, I shall continue to use this awesome pack.
EDIT:
I realized my computer had crashed while I was editing and the ice was not translucent. Also, a stone slab was missing its pixel border, thanks for noticing that Ovus. Both problems have been fixed in the new uploads.
You can download them in the OP or just right here.

With and Without Patcher are now obselete with changes I've made. You only need one now.
This is the best texture pack ever, I'm surprised this thread doesn't have more posts.
I think this really should be the default MC texture pack - it is very close to the original, so much so that you can instantly tell what is what at a glance, it doesn't look that much different.
Instead of changing the essence of the game like most texture packs, I think this one is a subtle refinement.
100% support this to be MC default.
My favorite part is how it makes cobblestone actually tolerable to look at :smile.gif:
Edit : That, and the cross-hair isn't so huge and distracting.
Why was the half step changed to be just smooth stone top? It used to be tiled, which looked cool in my creations, but now it's gone and everything looks weird :/
Err, how do I disable the autumn leaves? The OP says "A version of the gradient without the autumn leaves is included in the .zip/misc file." but I don't know which file is which.. Help?

And I second this. Could we get an option to choose the half step top?
I'll add that to my two other box-mirrors. :wink.gif:

Oh, I forgot to add the non-autumn leaves to the .zip when i adapted it for use with both the patcher and non-patcher.
I had the seperate versions because of the way my leaf gradient was colored, rendering the two versions looking completely wrong due to the lightness of the leaf textures. I've now fixed that issue, and I'll re-add the non-autumn leaves in the next update.
On the half steps:
I fixed that back in the newest download, i believe. It was a mistake on my part.

Any possibility of animated liquids?
Would be nice.
There are... I'm 100% sure because I'm watching my lava pour down right this second.
Make sure to use the patcher with all the options checked.
One thing about it that bugs me, and might effect some other things as well.
The wooden pick-axe. There's a stray pixel by the end of the handle.
I'm sure I fixed that in the newest download... When did you download it?
I had the slab bug and the pickaxe bug the first 1.3 update, then shortly fixed those in a reupload.
I downloaded it earlier today. Lemme try getting it again.
