Well, I've decided to put my work in progress up for other people to try out and provide feedback on.
Too many texture packs here for this to get any feedback, so I'm taking it offline. This will let me crib some textures from other packs, so Bluestone is going back to personal use only.
Copypaste all folders from minecraft.jar and edit each of them.
Yeah, they're all in there (I think, I started this in alpha). But do *all* textures need to be touched, or are some of the default textures just fine. :smile.gif:
I've pretty much finished the terrain.png file, along with some of the others. I'd like to tackle the mod textures next, but I'm curious if people do these the same way they do the blocks (in a paint program) or is there a nicer way to do these since the geometry that gets textured is quite a bit more complex than blocks. :smile.gif:
As the update mentions, I've decided to make the early wood furniture (workbench and chests) look like basic boards joined with dove-tails. So far only the workbench is done. I'd really like to get some feedback on this.

Sleekcraft! Check it out!
Thanks! I've got most of the textures updated, working on items a bit now. Any suggestions on what else need to be updated?
