EDIT: Also, what do they look like from below? Is it just... black? Or does it create some kind of paradox? ;D
First of all, *bursts out laughing*.
Second of all, If you look up from underneath one of them, you just see the floating head. The cascading black "curtain" is the body texture, with the bottom being transparent. The legs are completely invisible. The head is fully black all 'round, 'cept for the face.
The little bastards are hard to see. I had to build this little pit trap to make sure I had one on a background that could be photographed. :tongue.gif:

I never knew the head was an all-around texture (this will be good to know for my upcoming texture pack =D), but that sounds awesome.
I've gotten so good at dealing with Creepers that they offer me no challenge at all. With these bad boys... I can look forward to pure terror and surprise =D

Come on guys, we're getting off-topic, this is a thread about kicking men in the testicles.

You'll be surprised by how few people actually put a bathroom in their house. Where else would you ****? Where else?
Just finished Cows and Chickens, and touched up the base character a tad. Next, I'm gonna play with the standard monsters - Zombies, Skeletons, all that jazz.
omg this is beautiful! i especially like how low the door window is so you have to squat to see out! not sure if that was intentional but its really cool! great job!

Hehe, thanks man. The door thing had started as an accident, but I kinda liked how well it lined up with the sneaking position, so I left it. Kinda cool that you have to crouch down to look out, like with peep holes in some doors nowadays.
- Further tweaked the colored cloth blocks, makin'em better all round.
- Lightstone has been prettified!
- Chests & Dispensers have been slightly tweaked!
- Starting to update the mobs, with my first couple edits now in place!
This is just a little blip. No new pics yet, as they'll come when more has been updated.
Lemme know what yous alls thinks.
These bad boys have no legs. They are pitch black, floating heads with a red gem in their... chest?
Their bodies are spectral, fading out as they get closer to the ground. These are, in fact, spectral ghost bombs.
Thoughts?
i just soiled my pants!!
Oh my goodness Jehkoba! That's plain brilliant! Congratulations man!

Nice one, Zack. I took a couple of screen shots to show of your pack.
-3 Awesome images!-
Great stuff!
I will add that I am not feeling the latest spider re-skin. The original red design was perfect. I am also not convinced by the Spectral Creeper design either. The original Creeper design is iconic to Minecraft. To change it would be foolhardy. By all means work around it.
I am loving the new passive mobs. I prefer my chickens to look like chickens. The new glowstone is bang on track. Reduce the number of 'stones' though. It's a bit busy. One or two glowstones would be nice.
...and the flowers are wonderful!
First up, the new Spider design was actually NOT a new spider design. :tongue.gif:
I had slapped a black widow symbol on the original, applied a half-assed photoshop texture and let it go from there. I honestly really like the new spiders. They might need a bit of touching up, extra hairiness here and there, but all in all, I like 'em. Creepers I'm not 100% on, but I need to do something other than the standard design. This was a way for me to do something a bit more original, up the difficulty a touch, and still have the iconic creeper face good and visible. So, yes to more R&D, but no to the original.
Really glad you like the passive mobs. :smile.gif: I still haven't touched pigs or sheep, but they're coming up. I'm really happy with the cows and chickens, though. Also still need to do squid... Hmm. Also, I was hoping the flowers would be to your liking. I'm a lot happier with them over the ones I had. Have you looked at the dispenser face yet? :biggrin.gif:
Glowstone I agree 100% could be a bit cleaner, but I want to keep it somewhat ornate. Two stones would be too few, but it's certainly a tad cluttered at the moment. Happy medium en route.
Also, thanks for the pics, man. Those are fantastic.
This is probably one of my favorite looking packs right now! I love the ornate classy and the cute designs on the wool. Most people make the glass just this bland, see-through block, it's next to see it looking fancy and practical. And the wool is so cute! Can't wait to play with it~

After you've toyed with it a bit, lemme know if anything sticks out. I'll put it on the list of things to check into.
Dirty little oinkers. I tried to make them look a bit muddy around the jowls, belly, and toes. They may be a touch light as is... But, eh. We'll go with this for now. Lemme know if you've got some ideas.
Aww, I liked the red spiders best with the red peepers.
Zack, when you update the pack proper can you say "Update" in the title of the post because I can never be sure if you are just mentioning something for the future or whether it's been done for real.

Screens to follow in the next few days.

*Laughs* Glad I made your day, man. :tongue.gif:
I'll try to keep this thing worthy of your rating.
I don't think I still have the exact thing, but I could easily re-whip up the file and post it for you, if you'd like.
That'd be nice if you did that.
I'm really glad you like it. :biggrin.gif:

Aaaand, here we go. Very slightly updated - I smoothed out the corners a touch, but this is the original Fantasy Pack GUI hot bar.
Hope that works for ya.
Very nice pack.
Thanks, man. :smile.gif:
Glad it's working for ya.
Thanks so much! I just love the design of it!
I will indeed. Caps and everything. :smile.gif:
