And, thank you both.
I'm actually working on a mod TO my mod - more or less the same terrain file, with the monsters, items, and GUI being more fantasy oriented. I'll have a new thread for it once it's actually up and running.
So, the good to begin with:
I love having a steampunk-styled 16x pack, and your's is very well done. Keeps me from having to switch over to my hd install in order to use Glimmar's pack. I feel you did a very good job of bringing the feel of steampunk to 16x and I actually enjoy the cartoony style, it fits with 16x/vanilla Minecraft in my opinion.
The bad:
1. The frequent self bumps and double/triple/quad/etc posts in order to bump the pack makes me click it thinking there's been meaningful conversation related to the pack, or screenshots of updates to come. The moderator experience in me wants to make me issue you a warning, but the hatred of mini-mods prevents me from doing so. So this is my extent at mini-modding while still providing praise and the comment/criticism in #2.
2. No mention of what's been changed in each of the updates. As far as I can tell, nothing has changed from the screenshots in the OP, and even in game after downloading the update, nothing looks any different.
tl;dr: Love the pack, brings a unique steampunk feel to the 16x style. Less self bumps, more change notes. Hopefully this doesn't come across as rude.
As an aside, I actually dig through 10-20 pages to see if my favorite packs have been updated, and my all-time faves I've bookmarked. This section badly needs a split between mods and texture packs, or a subforum for texture packs. Sadly it seems no one in charge is really listening.
EDIT: Was going to recommend putting a link to this pack in your sig so you can post in other threads (related to the thread, mind you :tongue.gif: ) and still generate some interest, but after checking your last post you do in fact have a link.
I'm looking for suggestions on how to improve this pack. I'm currently branching off to one or two other projects as well, but I'd like to keep this one as up-to-date as possible as well.
If anyone has any suggestions for blocks or components they'd like to see improved upon, please let me know - either through a post on this page, or as a PM. I'm happy to hear suggestions, and would love to keep this thing going.
Thanks to everyone for all the support.
ALSO: Thanks to GenTechJ for the cautionary post. I'll do my best to refrain from baseless bumping in the future.
jehkoba, Many thanks for the link to my thread on your OP, that's very decent of you. Sorry it's taken so long to come back and say thank you! Nice to see the new items, etc, and good to see you keeping busy too! :smile.gif: This really is an excellent pack.:iapprove:

Much appreciated, man. Your pack is rather impressive itself. :smile.gif:
I was wondering, did you have any suggestions for how I might improve things over here?
Sounds were completely unchanged. The only things done with this pack were image-based.
All the same, I'm glad you're enjoying it.
!!!!!
Indeed it is.
Kehe, much appreciated. :smile.gif:

fer some reason...I giggled though
"This may hurt a little, but it's something you'll get used to...."
