you must of not downloaded the mod itself or it installed it wrong.
Hey Runesmith your texture is pretty awesome but you think you can add the mods themselves to the pack or tell us Mods not included? Altough having a full mod pack plus textures would be neato
I could use some clarification as to when exactly I should use the patcher. It seems to work best if I use it before installing any mods; however, if I do that I have to be very careful not to overwrite any of the pack's images when installing mods. Do I need to go through and remove all of the images that are replaced by this pack before installing them? Will there be problems if I've installed mods with 16x16 icons or textures (or 64x64 for that matter)?
I've managed to get it working with WildGrass and CoralReef (I resized the textures to 32x32, not sure if that was necessary) and it looks great, but anything beyond that and I run into trouble fast. I tried the gerudoku pack, but there were too many wacky textures (missing birch texture; couldn't tell what colour flowers were). I love the look and the mod support of this pack, I just wish I knew how to hook it into all of these mods.
Alfalfa, I've run into similar problems with the patcher as of late. If you're getting problems running the patcher after installing lahwran's settings screen api, then you're in the same boat as me.
1. What I did to work around such problems is to first install all mod images into your unmodded minecraft.jar file, nevermind the mods' class files temporarily.
2. After the mod image files are in the .jar, use the Xau's program to patch the .jar file with the texture pack, then close the patcher and minecraft (if you started to run it).
3. Then, you install all NON-image files belonging to the mods into their appropriate directories and delete the META-INF folder, as you would normally. If the files are to go into the minecraft.jar, be sure to put them into the original, not the back up that the patcher created (the back-up will have version number at the end of its name).
4. Finally, you can run minecraft directly (in other words, not launching the game through Xau's patcher). The mods should work and you can enjoy.
Mind you, if you wish to make a change to the terrain.png file or add more HD textures for an additional mod, you'll need to do this process again.
Thanks for the in-depth response, but I'm still having some trouble. When do I install the API mod? Should I put twlGuiThemeIndentedbuttons.png in before patching the jar?
EDIT: I've been putting all the images in first including the API mod's images, then patching Runesmith in, then copying the rest of the files into the jar, but I keep getting this:

EDIT: Oh, I've also been using a jar that's been patched with Better Light and Better Grass (nothing else done to it).
Sorry about any confusion with my response and your continued problems.
For Lahwren's Screen API, I would suggest holding off on installing any of its contents until AFTER YOU PATCH the jar.
Also, from what I read in the error report, I was wondering if you installed Risugami's Audiomod and Modloader as well as 303's Spawnlist along with Mo' Creatures. The first three are needed to make Mo' Creatures work.
If you didn't, then your error is simply that of missing a dependency mod.
Finally, I'm not sure but maybe 303's Arrow mod may be causing a problem. It most likely isn't, I just wanted to address that as a possibility. If you don't get an error until you install the class files of the Arrow mod, then one or more of the arrow class files would be creating a conflict.
MrMMods patcher and Minecraft Patcher seem to be conflicting somehow. If I use MrMMods patcher first then Minecraft Patcher seems to mess up the BetterLight classes (i get an error related to a missing TintFaces reference), but if I use Xau's patcher first then MrMMods patcher messes up all the images.
I'm so confused.
EDIT: I am dumb. I wasn't using the output of one patcher as the input of the other; it seems to work if I follow your instructions for Xau's patcher, then install the class files and the API, then use MrMMods patcher, then install Wild Grass (sans terrain.png). The only problem now is that the Wild Grass textures look super blocky. I'll see what I can do about that.
EDIT: Whenever I try use Xau's patcher with Runesmith, it won't work unless I only put images from the compatible mods into the jar (arrows mod images don't work either), otherwise it gets an error partway through. How do I add mods that are not explicitly compatible?
EDIT: Ah, finally got it working, and is it glorious! I put in images for the compatible mods, used Xau's patcher, used MrMMods patcher, put in the class files and the rest of the mods, and it works! Everything looks amazing, thanks for your help.
this might sound really lazy but is it possible to have your whole minecraft.bin in a saved file so i can just download the whole thing? lol like that would happen anyways awsome pack im going to get this tonight when i get home from school :tongue.gif: good job dude
You don't have to download ALL of the mods if you don't want to. Feel free to pick and choose as you see fit.
For example, you don't need to use Wildgrass AND Corosus' Pet mod AND Humans+. You could just use any one or two.
HOWEVER, in order to use many of these mods (and other ones out there), you will need to download and install Risugami's Modloader. Risugami's AudioMod and 303's Spawnlist are needed to use Humans+ and Mo' Creatures. These three are essentially the only MOD requirements.
In terms of downloading the mods, yeah, you have to download each one separately. It may be inconvenient, but it's not that big of a deal.
Finally, to those of you asking for me to post full minecraft.jar files or bin folders: that is NOT going to happen. Doing so is illegal and will get one banned from these forums.
How come every time i install and patch this texture pack it over rides the Default texture of Minecraft... Is this normal? btw wool the best wool
This is because, when using the patcher, it replaces the default textures with the new ones.
My question is, is there a way to package this so that it may be loaded like a normal alternate tex pack, from within the game? I really dislike having to re-add all my mods every time I want to use new textures.
the only reason why i was asking for the whole thing is because i don't know where to start with the downloading. ive placed texture packs into mc before i know how to do that but its the mods that i don't get. could anyone just tell me how to start. please and thank you.
Just a tiny bit confused on the downloading process. So, in order to download ANY of these mods, I have to install the link on the beginning of the thread, or can I just download them as I would a texture pack? Thx for any help

someone should have a file for all mods and this texture pack
