Heya fellow Minecrafters. Over the short period of time I've played this game I have found some very good texture packs. I was searching for a texture pack that would look decent, but retain the 'Minecrafty' feel of Minecraft. I eventually found myself using Gimp to pick individual, 'Minecrafty' textures from a whole bunch of texture packs and I have decided to put up my little mixture for download to anyone who wants it. Credits will be at the end of this post.
[UPDATED the Diamond Pickaxe, the Iron Door, and the Diamond Sword look more like what they're meant to be.]

How to install:
Now, I keep seeing texture pack threads telling me that I must put this in the texturepack file or some shi- like that then go to activate once you've launched minecraft. However, I do not do this because I am lazy. Though, do not doubt the way in which I apply my texture packs, it works just as good as anything else.
Heres what I do. I download Xau's HD Texture Fix patcher http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=46173, and from there I browse for the .rar file that is the texture pack (in this case 32x Compilation) and I click 'patch'. You can then either run Minecraft from the Xau's patcher or you can run it off the default Minecraft.exe. I personally prefer to run it off the Minecraft.exe for what ever reason, but either way your textures will work.
Alright. Now to credit the lovely people who created all this.

That's Peasant's Pack... I couldn't play with it. it crashes my minecraft.
So try and make a little bit more shiny.
...
Oh and also take a look at and your gold ore texture.
The normal is seperate and YOUR is in the middle. Where it's not very natural.
I also like your Workbench. Kinda look like King-ish. You know those BIG chest with wood and gold.
It's just....Awesome.

Im glad you like parts of the Compilation, but I did not make any of the textures you mentioned. Sorry :tongue.gif:. Thanks tho.
I'm just saying that you could make them more Reflective like a mirror and more shiny LIKE the link i gave you.
and also the ore is all stuck together in the middle. Which i don't like. THAT what i meant to say.
And I would advise you link to the threads you credit at the bottom of the post. It might be a condition for using them, it might not, but either way it's quite nice.

Edit: Nevermind, found a link that states the contrary. Still, make sure you have permission from the rest, okay? This does look quite nice.
