January the 14th 2011[b\]
Well Production on my higher resolution pack has halted, do to my lack of photo editing knowledge I was limited to using the very basic of gimps features, and do to my attention deficit I was limited to the amount of time I was able to spend editing at a time. Production will continue after I learn how to use gimp to its full extent, this however is a blessing in disguise as I am now going to be updating my current pack.
Also sorry if my updates take longer than it seems they should, as I said before I do have attention deficit, and with the monogamy of making textures (especially with my limited editing knowledge) and the fact that since I am just editing a premade texture I am seeing very little progress at one time. Do to these it is hard to keep myself focused and for that I apologize.
Changes included
Added texture for Beta 1.2 tree, and altered dirt, and flower textures. The changes on the flowers are minor. The changes with dirt I am not very happy with so I will be updating them shortly.
December 17th[b\] I finally got my new computer built, had a little trouble with the mob short circuiting, and since I didn't have internet access, and this was my first build, it tool me a while to figure out. So yeah now that I got my computer running I just need to transfer my files over, and I can begin working on this again, I am considering adding a higher resolution version let me know what you think.
November 20th update[b/]
Well bugs bugs bugs are about what I have to say about my previous releases. Adminium was too hard to tell from stone. Stone had a redish/yellow hue to it, all torches both redstone and normal did not look right. That and more have been (hopefully) fix'd with my new release. Before I released these textures the only thing I playtested was the picture below, and well since I used an inventory editor to get that stuff I also blew some stuff up with TNT. That being said there where a few problems with the textures as they where. Now that doesn't mean it is glitch free (although I hope it is), but it is a lot better.
Also I did some minor changes to grass, obsidian, saplings, and a few other things.
The biggest new feature though is the spartan pumpkin. I had already changed the pumpkin blur to fit the outside indents of a spartan visor, but now the actual pumpkin is a spartan helmet (square of course), and also I made the pumpkin blur more true to the halo games, by looking at various screenies.
On another note I removed the version where trees match the biomes, because I didn't see it fitting that they did, but grass didn't.
Gordon Mod
So I finished my first minecraft texture pack. The idea behind this pack, was well simple to be my own. One day I was editing some texture packs together, and I had to make some adjustments to the colors of the wood to get the two packs to match, and I said well if I am going to edit textures anyways why not edit my own.
I am planning on eventually making a full minecraft overhaul. Texture wise. Of course that takes time, and now that i have the terrain finished I might want to take some time to play the game, before I start making new textures like crazy again.
Do expect regular updates I plan on making about one update a week. But of course don't expect a set day of the week for me to update it, I will update the pack when I find something I do not like. No I understand posting on this site, makes my pack now public, and thus I must ask if you have any complains, any at all, let me know and I will try my best to fix what you find wrong. Now I may not add it to the public release if what you want is fairly big, but I can release personalized updates, although beer with me, they will be on my own terms.
Installation
For anyone who doesn't know any textures larger than default still can't be directly inserted into your minecraft.jar file, nor do they work by default when inserted into the texture pack folder. Instead you must install them using mcpatcher located in the link below. http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=46173

Thank You Niels for telling me the proper way to insert a large image.

I do not take myself seriously, so neither should you. I do not mean that in a rude way I am just saying I have offended people more than once when I didn't mean too so this is a warning, I joke a lot, although it doesn't mean my jokes are any good.
I like it!
Now just hope that it works with the texture support wich works like crap =)
actually mcpatcher pretty much does all the work you would need to do, regarding textures. The link to which is in my original post.

Everyone Rejoice Portals have now been fix'd thanks to XAU. Download the latest version of mcpatcher and see for yourself.

Also this is not necessary but recommended highly. After installation patch the jar file again using the MrMModsv1.03 located in the forum listed below.
