Okay, I take back what I said earlier about new stuff not needing edits. I didn't realize there were recolors hiding amongst them. Sneaky, sneaky recolors!
Also, could a mod move this thread to the texture pack forum?
I'm going to post so I can keep up to date :smile.gif:
This is a lovely texture pack and basically exactly what I'm looking for. I love the default but it seems to be missing something and whatever that was you fixed it :smile.gif:
It seem mediocre before you download it, but if you like the default pack/don't want to see blocks completely different to others on multiplayer, this texture pack is awesome! especially because of the tools and armour :smile.gif:
the tools do not look good. no amount of fancy descriptions can change that.
MOD EDIT: This user was reported for flaming. The criticism isn't useful at all, but it's reasonable feedback.
However, Captain Crazy, you should still improve your feedback/criticism. Otherwise, you're just wasting time and annoying people.
uh, this is a while ago but I apologize. I should probably restate this so it's actual useful feedback that isn't overly offensive.
the iron axe should probably resemble a woodcutting axe rather than one used for combat (although there is a mod that adds battle-axes and it would fit right in there :Y)
on second look, the diamond tools look fitting. the hoe reminds me of something that would be in an ice sculpture. the sword looks a little hard to carry, maybe thin it out while retaining the fierce battlespikes.
I like the wooden and gold tools a lot. they really nail down both the "driftwood on a stick" and "form over function" mindset of the two tiers.
I'm glad that people using this texture pack won't stumble into pre-carved pumpkins anymore! also the fact that you retouched gravel means that I'll probably stop getting migraines from this game
One more update today. Probably the last one until the next Minecraft update. Which may not be too long, but at least now I have everything I wanted done, really really done.
EDIT: lolwhoops! For some reason, redstone requires a certain two squares in terrain.png to be completely blank now. If you downloaded in the last half hour, redownload!

Still here, still loving this pack, still the only pack I use regularly (although I will throw on Painterly from time to time). Thanks for keeping this pack updated!

Also, I may or may not have added the cookie to items.png. Can't remember. Mmmm, cookies.
2.8 is go for 1.5, or something like that.
