I'm a big fan of this pack, I'll probably stick with it for the rest of my minecraft career. But what texture pack is that in the OP with the doors that have a face on them?

It is the texture pack I am working on in coordination with my mob pack. It is a WIP but I plan to post it here when I finish it.
mine dosnt seem to work. i extract the file and put it in the minecraft thing and load minecraft but nothing still looks the same and im running windows vista would this be a problem?

hmmmm. I can't Imagine that there would be any reason that it wouldn't run with vista. perhaps open the actual mob folders on your minecraft.jar, and the horror pack and select the actual pngs and drag them over. there have been a handful of times where I had to do that. I wish I had better advice but I really can't think of anything else. Have you installed other textures previously with out a problem? let me know if you do or do not get it working because if it is something I have done I want to make sure to fix it as soon as possible.

If you are running a texture pack you'll need to place it in to that. If not then i'm not sure because it shows up for me.
I have a problem now though after trying this mob pack in that my game crashes everytime i try to fire an arrow. Here is the crash report...

Alright. THIS was my mistake. you have to remove the "thumbs.db" because it is associated with BaseMod. I will add this to the description and take it out myself when I put out an updated version. remove thumbs.db and you should be fine.
yay its out. but weren't you doing a full texture pack not just the mobs?
I am going to, I just wanted to put the mobs out by themselves first because I knew a number of people wound be using them along side their texture packs. I will be releasing a texture pack including a terrain.png in a short while. But in the mean time, mobs only.
thats fine. take your time. i want it to be **** my pants scary not done in 5 min scary.
good work so far
well I can assure you, I will not release the terrain.png, and whatever else I include until I am sure its ready. I won't go into copypasta mode just to get it out faster.
the first time i saw heard the hiss of a creeper and turned around to see this i almost jumped out of my seat. i had a problem with arrows crashing the game at first but then i looked back at the install directions. anyway, these mobs look great with the pack i'm using. i havnt seen a slime in person yet tho
I would have, and considered it. but i just don't think it would have looked right.. plus wild sheep are common enough to legitimize.

You can always copy the original files into a folder as a back up and switch them back in when you feel like it. Its up to you though, of course.
