If you'r name isn't listed here, and I have used your texture in my compilation, it's because i have gotten some of the textures from other compilation packs.
I have done my best to track down the original creators of those textures, but I do reserve the possibility of missing something.
I apologize to the original creators of the textures i used and modified to include in this pack that I did not list them earlier, I was too eager to get the pack out after all the work i put in it, and I forgot to add them.
Nice job taking other people's work and putting your name all over it. If you're going to make a compilation at least give credit where it's due.
I belive i posted in the original post that most of the textures was taken from other packs, and credits go to the original creators of course.
I just made some of them myself, and modified others, I'm in no way trying to put myname all over it, wich is why it says Compilation pack on the screenshots.
If I have offended you by using any of your textures, please let me know, I only posted this since I put alot of work putting the textures together into one pack, that had the look and feel that i was looking for.
Those are the best 64x64 landscape textures I have seen so far! Misa's Mob pack showed me a new side to HD textures, but without a doubt you've managed to make the HD textures tile beautifully in the landscape. Really well done indeed.
I have a small request ... could you please make 64x versions of John Smith's v3 smooth stone and cobblestone blocks?
Those two, in my opinion, are by far the best of any blocks so far made. I have tried quite a few very nice 64/128 packs, and they do make much of the world (especially from close by) look nicer. But I always, and hardly minutes after I load the game up, go back because none of them were a match for JSmith's smooth stone, cobble and wood planks (the three, I feel, most important and most difficult to make blocks).
And, I like the '9' in the bottom right corner of your gravel block.
I notice a good bit of the textures in here are mine. I don't mind people using my stuff, but credit would be appreciated.
It's generally common practice to list the names of the artists you're using stuff of when releasing a compilation. And to list it as a compilation in the title.
Updated main post with links to the original sources of the creators of the textures, and I apologize for not adding them earlier, had been working through the night with them and must have slipped my mind as I saw that I was getting close to being able to release it.
wow this is REALLY nice looking, i might give it a go.
edit: tried it, its just about the most awesome thing i ever saw... EXCEPT the glass. A lot of people hated on the original minecraft glass and its the one thing you keep?? I really like the painterly pack's glass, at least i think thats the one i like.. now im going to have to go look.
edit again: yeah it is painterlys glass that i love, if you can make a 64x64 tile of his glass ill be your BFF ( i tried myself, because it looks so simple... and it turned out SO bad.....)
This is my compilation of 64x textures, some of them are from other packs on this forum, others are self made or heavily modified.
I wanted to keep the original feel of minecraft, while at the same time add some higher definition, and change the ones i felt needed change.
Will update this if there is any interest in this pack.

You need to use xau's hd texture fix, since its a higher resolution texture file than minecraft normally uses.

It's generally common practice to list the names of the artists you're using stuff of when releasing a compilation. And to list it as a compilation in the title.
Usually, "credits go to the original creators" means that you list who the creators were and which textures you used from each of them.
Look at the way Koolwitak does it at the end of his first-page post for Mixcraft:
viewtopic.php?t=31331
Also, it's usually considered polite to ask for permission from the original creators to re-package their work like this.
Knowing that it's a compilation sorta dampens the epicness... but I can't say that all this isn't incredibly amazing.
Now all I ask is that you give credit where credit is due. That way I can use this with a clear conscious. :tongue.gif:
