Ive downloaded the texture fixer and did it correctly with the lastest version of gerudoku and now my minecraft Screws up whenever i break dirt or place it :sad.gif: please respond btw i love this texturepack its really good :smile.gif:
Does anyone have any good alternate sand textures? I like the standard one but I feel I could do slightly better, plus it has too much of an orange hue and its a bit darker.
Wouldn't mind looking for a better half step and dirt texture too.
P.s. I checked No_man's Gallery and about 20+ pages of textures trying to find better.

my sand texture? the dirt wouldn't fit with a gerudoku mix,but the sand in my pack is more generic.
check this texture pack out, i tried out the sand from nyxcraft in my texture pack (which is just a remix of your texture pack) and when you first look at it, you think, a bit too plain, but i look again and yeah it does look pretty good.
Hmm, I don't feel like that will fit either but I might as well test it, first.
Oh and my texture pack is going through a pretty large change, i've been making tons of edits and put many hours into it so far.
Did you ask people, before you put the textures up?
What is the deal with people automatically assuming they are the sheriff of politeness on these forums?
I personally find it pretty sad that the first response isn't along the lines of "Well done" or "thanks for putting this together" but rather an assumption of some kind of wrongdoing.

yeah mos creatures and more creeps and wierdos might be a good place to start. I'd be useless, bu if i was a quite pixel editor i definitely would help. maybe you could ask sump to help, hes a great pixel editor. I'm not bad, but not good enough to start texture mod supports

If you posted images of your armor you wanted to use from the item.png I'm sure someone might be able to help.

Anyone know if it is possible to change the texture for the portal since the portal textures are no longer used on the terrain.png? Did Notch hard code the portals into minecraft like he did with lightning?

you can find custom_portal.png i think, not sure where though
You can make them the same way as the lava/water custom files.

Curse PremiumHmm, I kinda of like. The side blocks of the dirt and snow look great but the dirt block by itself feels really off, like it doesn't match well.
His dirt isn't bad but he posted that he would prefer if no one used any of his textures till his pack was finished.
