Here is my variant of the GERUDOKU pack http://www.mediafire.com/?ajw48ouefojxjwo It IS updated for 1.5_01 for those who are too busy, lazy, or witless to do it themselves. It is a mixture of new and old with a lot of tweaking of the items and terrain textures to my liking. I like to keep my pack fairly close to the feel of an oldschool RPG, so that's the theme of things. The kz.png (art file) is compatible with the Extreme Art mod, hopefully it gets updated again.

There is something wrong with the grass, the side of it is as the original but the top of the grass is bright green, is it just me or is that wrong in the terrain.png? (Yes, i installed it properly with the HDpacther 2.0, i really think it's the terrain.png)
There is nothing wrong with the terrain.png. The problem is with your settings. My pack is setup to use Minecraft's biome shading. Notch's sidegrass shading fix does NOT work if you have your graphics set to "Fast", it only works when graphics are set to "Fancy". From the description and your screenshot, I'm certain that's your problem.

My friend made the powered rails resemble boosters and brakes on rollercoasters using the textures from the pack as a base. She said it was coo' to share sooooo... here you go.
if you go into the misc folder which is in your texture pack folder, then inside misc, delete grasscolor.png. zedas has a custom one, but if you delete it, it will use default, which is the biome colours notch uses for the side grass

I have two solutions for you, I prefer one far more than the other.
1. (Preferred) Download and install the BetterGrass v2.6 mod (I use it myself). It will make it so that Notch's biome sidegrass fix works on the "Fast" graphics setting. You can use the original pack and you'll have biome shaded grass.
2. Here is a version of the pack done for the "Fast" graphics setting. RPG Pack - Fast graphics setting It will give one colour of grass through the whole world.

Hey guys is anyone getting "messed up grass" using the GeruDoku texture pack? Sorry for no picture it would not let me upload. But my grass that is on the surface is a purple color kinda like obsidian? but the dirt underneath is the right color and texture. It acts like dirt in the time it takes to dig and all that even the blocks that it drops are correct. Any ideas? Any help will be appreciated!

Hello every one. Love the texture pack. But i am having a problem maybe you can help me with. i cant seem to find it anywhere in the last 20 pages so i will post it.
I am useing Richasackboy epic texture pack and i am useing mcpatcher-2.0.1. I did a clean install on minecraft then used the patcher to allow higher res packs. Then i open i texture pack folder and drop Richasackboy pack in there. When i go in to select the texture pack there is 2. defult texture and gerudoku.zip the problem i am having is that the gerudoku pack is grayed out and i cant select it. i watched the tutorial video on page 100 and did what he did and it is still garyed out.
While watching the video his texture pack was grayed out to but then somehow got colored and he was able to pick it.
idk what the problem is and i am sorry if this has been posted before. i would like to thank you guys ahead of time for the help.

hmmm... Maybe you're using an outdated patcher?
You have to zip up the contents of the folder (compress) and put them into the texturepacks folder, not the entire folder.
This has probably been answered like a billion times in this thread but I can't find anything... sooo...
When I load up the texture pack and patch with mcpatcher 2.0.0 beta4 or 2.0.1, the compass looks weird. I used a fresh minecraft.jar, patched, put the texturepack in the folder, and played. The water and lava also looked messed up.

Posting my adaption of the GERUDOKU pack for The Wild Grass Mods (see above) I forgot to show you my terrain file.
Feel free to use my orchids, cyclamen, vines or this red flower thing whose name I still don't know for other GERUDOKU packs.

I've been using this texture pack since I discovered the Yogscast and I've got to say it's absolutely fantastic, especially now that it's been outdated, I've been able to scrap together bits of Rick's, Tyken's, Danscottbrown's, Zedas', and Tombones' textures and make my own terrain.png to my liking.
I've seen Doku's latest stuff, but I still prefer this over that.
Amazing job all of you and especially Mr. Tombones for keeping this going, even with your RL shiz.
