If you're just dropping by to let me know that you don't care for my texture pack then it's duly noted. I now have a sticky note prominently displayed that reads "Vetroit doesn't like it."
Hello,
As I said a while back, your pack is superb. But do you think you can make all the shovels look realistic? I don't mean the shovel skin, I mean the way they are held in the players hand, for example like in GERUDOKU's 32x32 texture pack. What do you think?
I'm looking for feedback on the breaking animation. I like the current cracks, but I'm considering making them the alternate and defaulting to the traditional Arc mining progress bar animation. Thoughts?
Your wood is awesome, sir. You're obsidian, however, sucks. It's too smooth.
Thanks! A friend recently pointed out that my wood has a shading issue that tiles poorly. I love the texture, but I'll have to work on the color to make it tile better.
Obsidian is a natural glass. I tried to create a polished stone that is beautiful for building. It has natural bubble flaws in it that add depth and interest, as well as a natural purplish tint.
If you'd prefer a mnore textured surface you can open the terrain.jpg preview by clicking it and alter the version number to 2.0 through 2.9 and I believe that you find an earlier version that you may like better. Once you find one you like just copy the main download link and alter it to the version number that you want to pull.
Hey, is it okay if i borrow the way your sheets overlap the edge on your bed in my standard 16px texture pack?

First, DO THE ARMOR. PLEASE!!! That's one thing that really bothers me.
This other one is more of a nitpick. Could you make it so that, in 3rd person and to other players using the pack, the iron sword looks like you are gripping the hilt and not part of the crossbar?

That is fine with me. Happy texturing!

I have tried many textures packs in the 32-128x range. So far I find myself always coming back to yours. Thank you for such a nice feeling pack.
Thanks! I do too :wink.gif:

I love the cobblestone texture!
It's the first texture I made and it's the best part in my opinion. Works great and really defines my structures .

]Amazing and very easy to download but MASSIVE lagg
All 128 pack introduce some lag. But I've done a great deal of work in photoshop to reduce the file sizes as much as possible given to engine's requirements. I run Sanguine on a 6 year old high end gaming system with a three year old high end graphics card (ATI 8500 gts IIRC ) the graphics card is a crucial element in getting good performance from my system, but my AMD 3700+ really shows it's age. I get 25-120 fps depending on what's happening.

Great pack! Just a couple of "complaints"...

Thank you. I started Sanguine while unemployed and have a ridiculously demanding job now. I'll be working in photoshop all weekend on images that I worked on making all week last week. I haven't had any time at all to speak of lately to do anything more than keep it up to date with Minecraft but I hope to be able to finish it completely before summer gets here.
Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions. I read them all and take them all and take them all into consideration. I'll do my best to wrap Sanguine up soon!
ok, maybe it's because i'm using google translate and it missed something, but... it seriously looks like at that link you've taken this texture pack, changed one or two things, and claimed it as your own creation... Seriously, this looks like something the original author put a lot of work into, at least give him some credit if you're going to blatantly re-host the pack with your name on it =/
yeah, update is nice and all, i'm just saying to at least say it's an update of another pack... you even flat-out replaced his username in the terrain image with your own, that's not cool.
Does not claim the work does not deserve it. I wrote simply that this is my update. I adapted for myself a few textures and all that, I do not intend to usurp the texture, I apologize for any inaccuracies and warmly greet the original author. I gave a link to my treatment just because you can play on these great textures in version 1.6. Sam I'm looking forward to the update from copperdomebodha.
For copperdomebodha.
Sorry if in some way offended you this link.
Nevertheless, I urge you to see my treatment, because there may be something you like so that you will make it to the original (for example, texture repeater (item.png), or font / weather HD) Of course it is not forcing anything.
Once again I greet and I apologize also for the Google Translate
well like i said, i understand if there was something lost in translation. there's nothing wrong with you re-posting a version that works with this update, as long as you specifically state on the page it's hosted "this is copperdomebodha's texture pack, with a few additions by myself", and provide a link back to this page. Same for the terrain image, it'd be more respectful to leave his signature in the image as it is, and maybe add "additions by sliwa" underneath. It doesn't sound like you did anything with bad intent, i'd just say go update the page with something along the lines of what I said so that people understand that you aren't trying to take credit for it :smile.gif:
again, no hard feelings. it sounds like you were just trying to share a cool texture pack, and didn't realize how it came across. update the page, and i'm sure all will be forgiven :smile.gif:
Hi everyone! So sorry to leave you all hanging out there in minecraftia without any updates or posts to explain why!
I've been unable to spend time on this lately due to having to deal with a legal matter. It's been far higher on my radar than this texture pack but I haven't abandoned this at all. I hope to have an opportunity to spend time updating this for 1.6.6 this weekend. Sorry for the long delay and failure to follow up on my prior promised update.
found the latest addition to my sig :tongue.gif:
I've considered it, but never tested it. I'll give it a go and include the change in the next update if I find it nicer. Thanks for the suggestion!

Ya know what would make it even better? GLSL shader support ;] ;]

edit:
oh! and one more thing: I'd suggest just hosting the texture pack .rar file. you don't need to upload the minecraft.bin along with it, just provide this link to MCpatcher so people can patch their minecraft to allow HD textures: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/232701-529-item-fixes166-compatible-mcpatcher-hd-fix-210-01/
