Hi i am going to donate and i was wondering if it was okay for me to edit your work into the buildcraft and industrialcraft mod and use your style for textures is that okay? because apparently you wont do it, you only do graphical mods.

Read the first post. Also, similar question was answered one post before yours.
Edit: Fixed the problem, but now I have another question, is the texture pack not compatible with any other mods? Like ModLoader, Rei's Minimap, etc.?(Sorry if this question already has been discussed and answered.)
If by compatible you mean additional art for that mod, then no. Other than that, texture pack doesn't change a single line of code, there shouldn't be problems. But compatibility problems might be with MCPatcher, you should check that thread.
Did you have any solution for the 1.3 Server option for TPs? This function needs a filedownload without adfly. But you restrict that i reupload your tp on my server.
There are two mirror links without adf.ly, what's the problem?
This is an awesome pack, but is there any chance of making a 32x version?
I badly lag on 64x textures, but 32x is fine for me.
I'm asking you for the good of people with slow computers.
I'm asking you for the peace on Earth overall and in my mind in particular, use the search function. It works.
Hey, I've been wondering how come some of your random mob texture variants seem to be kinda different than your default textures for mobs? Default textures for mobs in your pack look realistic in my view, but some of the random textures look really weird and unrealistic. For example slime and spider texture variants are looking so weird to me I had to keep random mobs unselected in mcpatcher.
I think their colors are either too bright or too different for minecraft, like that slime wearing sun glasses...
I was wondering is this the way how you wanted them to look?
I prefer smooth colored mobs, just like the variants you made for creeper. All of those 40 variants are following the same template, as they are changing colors and minor details. I wonder how come this style does not apply to some other mobs, like slimes or spiders?
Hey I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and could message me if so. I have used the like grey netherblock from the Alternates.png file in Misa's pack because I hate the normal color of it with some of my builds Since the 1.3 update. But I just noticed that while it changes most of the block for netherbrick block and netherbrick stairs it misses one side....on the stairs its the bottom(or top depending on stairs angle) and for the netherbrick block it misses the top leaving it the normal reddish burgundy color. I dont know if theres some square I need to cover in addition to the netherbrick block in the terrain.png or if theres something Im not doing with paint.net but if someone knows the answer I would be eternally grateful to them.
Hi me again. I found another similar problem. Im going to keep playing with it as these thigns are only minor just more curious than anything. When it comes to the bricks I changed them to the alternate grey and the halfslabs are fully grey now while the full brick block is grey on the top but not on the sides. Is there something Im forgetting to cover in the terrain.png or is it a more technical matter. I LoVe your work Misa your my favorite artist of the year thank you so much for giving everyone amazing art to look at while playing an amazingly creative game:) You meh hero!
Hey Misa, I was looking through some packs for a night-time Better Skies texture (for personal use) and I have to say, yours is just gorgeous. I wanted to say thanks for making my nights so much cooler.
I don't know if it's a render thing because I started a new server and it's trying to build the land etc. but my skies look almost lke a blinding white with your barely able to see the clouds. When I set the time to night the skies are the same but less bright. I also noticed the sides of the grass doesnt look like it use to. I have and used the current 1.3.1 MCPatcher and have done everything I have always done but am getting these weird looks. Will try to take pics later as I have to head out now but thought I would post this for some "guesses" on what may be wrong.
Edit: Here's that shot, this is actually from my main fully rendered server so it's not a render thing on the new world.
Going back to answer a bunch of posts I may have missed the first time around as well as some more recent posts. Won't be as big as it otherwise would've been as Spejs has done a good job covering for me. Thanks.
Hey Misa for the next update could you add blinking villagers? They just look kind of boring when they stare into your soul without actually moving their eyelids Another thing that you could add would be random mobs for Iron Golems. I think the new update rocks and the spruce wood textures are great. Keep up the good work!
It's all been on the to-do list for awhile. Working with mobs and animations in general is just one of the more annoying things to do. It'll get done though... Eventually.
I was wondering if you could add something for the next release or maybe put it out sonner. I was going to ask for the items.png the red velvet cake and alt beds. now as I was looking at the new alternates file I notice on there for the red velvet cake.. there is definately not ont there for the alt Beds. If you would be so kind...
...Another request. I always liked the 1st and 4th alt glowstone looks but there isn't a alt animated file for them...
I never included bed item icons because they seemed like something that was easy enough to roughly edit on your own after you've messed with the hue shifting to make the bed the color you want. I'll think about adding custom icons for them, but at the moment this is really low priority. The fact that the Red Velvet cake has an icon is due to the fact that it was made before cake was officially released. I had the textures to edit, but that was about it, and for some reason the icon was included in terrain.png, so I made it for that, thinking it might've been crucial to terrain.png--It wasn't. So that's more of a relic of the development history than anything.
Regarding the glowstone thing. I don't do animated versions of alts. Animations are pretty time-consuming, not at all easy to just throw together, and take up a lot of extra filespace.
Hello. Your work looks very good. I am a student from secondary school and I want to use your texture pack in one of my homework. However, I can't find a place to credit your name because it is a homework. It won't be upload to internet. So, can I use your work?
I know this is kinda an old post and I'm only just getting around to this, but it's an issue that needs to be addressed. I don't know how many times I've said, if you need to ask permission for anything, that you need to do it in PM. This thread is not really the place to get any official permission for anything, it's for discussion of the texture pack. I need all permission requests to be redirected to PM (Here or on Planet Minecraft), or email. I need to be able to easily reference each person I've given permission to should the legality of their work be called into question and I need to defend their rights to use my work. Inversely I need to be able to easily search through all permission slips when a moderator comes to me asking if someone who's stolen my textures without credit ever obtained permission.
Hi Misa,
Can you tell me the RGB values of the Nether Bricks, so i can color my fence texture? It would also be nice if you could post an "official" optional glas ctm texture
The color of the red netherbrick palette used when I had custom color modification of the original nether brick was: #985e59
hey misa, do you like the way the new birch stairs look like?
i tried to turn of the ctm feature for birch stairs and halfsteps but ran into some other connecting problems.
do you have any idea how to turn the ctm feature of for those two blocks? did you try it too?..
I don't. I've been trying to solve the problem of stairs/slabs for awhile and CTM with little luck. Part of the problem is the fact that the side texture for stairs is shifted oddly. It almost may need a special set of rules added to CTM or something. I'm sure I'll figure out something eventually, but yeah, I can't really provide any insight on the matter that you don't already know at this point.
...Silverfish with metadata 2 look like stone bricks. The stone brick texture has a CTM feature which randomizes its appearance. However, there is no CTM feature for stone brick silverfish blocks. So the stone brick silverfish blocks will look all alike while the real stone brick blocks are randomized. Is there a way to _add_ the CTM feature for silverfish stonebrick blocks ? Is it as simple as adding an other block97.properties file? If so, what name should it have since I need to refer to metadata=2? Or do I need to add lines to the existing one? Is there a syntax I have to take care of?...
The unique silverfish block art only extends to smooth stone, as stone bricks and cobblestone already have plenty of crevices that silverfish could easily hide in. As far as adding your own support for these blocks goes, all documentation for MCPatcher's CTM features are found on the MCPatcher thread under the section for texture pack artists. If you want multiple properties files for the same block/texture ID, you simply add an ordered letter of the alphabet to the end of the file name. My pack has the example of : block17.properties, block17a.properties, block17b.properties.
Hi, Misa !
The crafting grid of the creative mode GUI is no longer available in MC 1.3.1, but still shown in your pack. Maybe you should remove it to not confuse people ...

About the new logs:
Amazing work, as usual ... but is there any way to change the hand-held log top/bottom textures ?
Don't double-post. I read your comment the first time. If you don't get an immediate answer, and the problem you've reported with the pack is something that's easy to fix on my end, just expect that I've already fixed it on my end for the next update. If you have a question that you feel demands an answer, PM me. Regarding the logs, no, there's nothing I can do about the tops when held.
Hi is it allowed to swap some textures with my personal textures for personal use??
For personal use you can write "Misa sucks!" on every texture and replace all the paintings with Japanese tentacle porn (also involving me) for all I care. I include alternate textures because it's expected that people will want to customize the pack to suit their needs. For personal use you can do pretty much anything you want with the pack. Restrictions only apply if you plan to redistribute work that makes use of my work.

In PM when I mentioned that I wished you would've posted your original issue in my thread, it was more or less an afterthought and a reference to how much text I spent covering the subject. I wasn't expecting you to actually repost the content of your PM here. Anyway the wording you use now has since changed, which greatly alters the content of my response. Would you mind if I were to just post a transcript of our PM exchange instead? I don't really feel like typing up a new/edited response to this.

Post #5638. I gave a full tutorial for how to delete CTM features. Now that you are eternally grateful to me, you need to know that some day, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for me. But until that day, consider this response a gift on my daughter's wedding day.

The white texture problem is typically an insufficient resource issue. Read and follow the guide on the first article of my FAQ. If none of that helps, you may just have to uncheck Better Skies on MCPatcher. :/ Regarding the grass, nothing was changed on my end. It sounds like you checked/unchecked the optional Better Grass feature. If you want it to go back to the way it was the last time you used my pack, you know what to do.
Hey Misa, I finally figured out my problem yet there's something wierd. When I try to load in to SP or MP the worlds take about 3min to load any reasons why?
Going back to answer a bunch of posts I may have missed the first time around as well as some more recent posts. Won't be as big as it otherwise would've been as Spejs has done a good job covering for me. Thanks.
I've been around here for quite some time and know a bunch of things about customizing texture pack, so I thought I could help more than just clicking adf.ly link. Hope it will give you a little bit more free time to make your amazing textures even better.
Your question: [insert question here.] My answer: Long story.
Read the first post. Also, similar question was answered one post before yours.
If you are on Windows, try right click on the link to file, then choose "save as". Also any download manager should be fine.
If by compatible you mean additional art for that mod, then no. Other than that, texture pack doesn't change a single line of code, there shouldn't be problems. But compatibility problems might be with MCPatcher, you should check that thread.

Those are ctm features that overrides tiles from terrain.png. Use this:
