Sorry, AnrDæmon, but I had to reupload the Misa pack, modified contributions and somehow the zombie got deleted from the pack(which is weird since I never did anything with the zombie before.)
Are there degraded textures for the original bat-like wooden sword? I honestly prefer it over the sword-like one. Lol. I vaguely remember that someone made some, but I'm too lazy to look through countless pages for them.
Edit: Never mind. Looks like they never were any. I'll still switch to the bat, anyway. Lol.
Okay, after researching this issue I see now that the textures for the wooden sword (and golden sword) aren't actually Misa's.{*Sigh*, contributors please don't change Misa's textures away from her own in her own pack. Please make patches if you want to introduce your own improvements}
That said I've updated the pack again to restore Misa's Golden and wooden swords:
Are any more of Misa's actual textures not in use? I secretly replaced the wool in the pack with Misa's a few updates back because apparently someone decided they didn't like the color of some of them.
My apologies. Haven't been active in these forums for more than a year now. The last version I played/modded was 1.7.10. The textures were just something I quickly came up with on GIMP for a quick test run of 1.13 before my relative asked for her PC back. Lol. Not having your own PC sucks. It's nice to see the community still updating this texture resource pack.
@Bidjiguks: Those seem like the ones I remember, and they look much better. Should I still make mine a patch? Lol.
(Translation may contain errors) Regarding the reworked original textures. A long time ago I changed some of the original textures of Misa, on my own. Since my pack was taken as the basis for the continuation of works, now you can observe the changes.
I think something turned out well
Decide for yourself which textures you like best.
The emerald you have there is exactly the same as my animated emerald in my 'Glimmar's Steampunk'. This goes way back to when the emerald was first introduced into Minecraft in 1.3.1 (around 2012) and obviously when Misa was very much working on her pack and made her own at the same time that I made my animated version.
I'd be grateful if this wasn't included to avoid confrontations down the line. I could waste a lot of time, but I could produce old versions of my pack and videos to prove when I first introduced it. Many thanks
There is always the possibility that we both used the same random stock emerald as reference, but that emerald there is an exact match of mine, down to color, angle and facets and my original source was a different angle, shape and color, therefore we couldn't have arrived at an exact match!
Here's a link to my showcase video of the time July 2012:
The emerald in question is in the active menu bar at the bottom from 00:30 secs into the video.
That's your emerald??? Taking Glim's and calling it Misa's is worse than just replacing Misa's. That is not Okay. You're being generous, Glim, considering that emerald is animated the same way for Minecraft as the one in your pack, I find it hard to believe you chanced across the same stock image.
At any rate, I've put all those textures back to Misa's version:
It's no big deal and I don't wish 'guks any ill will. The problem is that certain textures get picked up and passed along and then the provenance get's lost. It's stupid really to make a fuss over a 64x64 pic, but I'm more worried that someone will accuse me of taking someone else's texture down the line, and I worked hard on lots of animations for that particular update as the vid depicts (GSv6 if I'm correct)!
I can supply the image that I referenced of an emerald in a necklace fitting in a vertical setting, there are certain reference points I used, but it was used for inspiration and not digitally copied, hence why I'm sure the emerald 'guk is showing is mine (easily compared against the one in all my packs back to 2012). I made a single texture first, then animated the spangle glints on later. I still have all the working files and spangle layers in dated Gimp files.
Anyways, I respect Misa's work as much as you guys, she has always been a brilliant reference pack when updating my own...she was always faster than I at updating and always the one to break new ground. Anyways, I don't think under any circumstances she would have liked my texture in the pack when she has her own more excellent style.
Yes, it turned out awkwardly. Initially, my pack was only for personal use, and then your emerald was too beautiful to remove it
Looks like now have to delete the skin of Alex, which I also used from your pack
Thank you for the compliment, 'guks.
Thank you also for the honesty over the use of my Alex skin too! Always best to be careful that anything you make use of personally (which is fine) doesn't creep over into being re-distributed on a website...which of course is frowned upon to put it mildly, especially in this polite Minecraft Forums society we have here...and anywhere else where fairness rules.
Ah, I see it now, I'll try to fix it tomorrow. Thank you.
Also, I remind you Misa made the textures, All I'm doing is updating her pack for 1.13. and this problem lies within my translation of her base pack to 1.13. It's Misa's great work, I messed something up.
As a reminder, the Fish entities, dolphin, turtle, and turtle helmet still don't textures. as I am not skilled at biological entity texturing. I've spent a whole day trying to texture each of those things only to trash all my work at the end of the day because it was crap. As such The pack could use help on these from anyone willing to contribute.

If it's any consolation, Giam, I absolutely hate working on entities and often waste days on stuff only to ditch it. I don't even use 3D editors so find the whole process of visualization extremely difficult!
Hi, I'm currently coding a generator to make a texture-base exactly for things like animal skins. My ocelot turned out really well and it's even the tiniest vanilla-scale, which is as compact as anything should ever be, considering the level of detail for the resolution. Ocean life shouldn't pose any problems of any difficulty greater than the ones I'm already handling.
I animated the end rod a little to give it more personality.

Don't be sorry As I said, the frequency of updates is not an issue.
Sure, I made this for you:
Download Misa-style Better Glass for 1.12.2 (7MB)
Unfortunately the pane tops don't look as good as in 1.13 because apparently 12 doesn't support a feature I used to make the panes.

I made degraded textures for Misa's bat-like Wooden Sword using the latest community pack's as the base.
DL link (with the pristine texture included): « http://www.mediafire.com/file/sddcf6uk64bwb9i ». Extract the .zip's contents into assets\minecraft\textures\item.
Turn it into a patch, then anyone could use it easily but adding it to their resource pack list.
Erm... Misa did do degraded textures for the bat.
Indeed?

Yes, thank you.
Updated these two packs:
replaced Alex texture, fixed spruce stairs and re-added Misa's color properties, which got deleted somehow.

It's also a very manageable subset of textures.
