Updated the pack, same download link as above. Hopefully all the bugs are squashed and the only incomplete textures are new things that haven't been made yet.. and as an added bonus, note blocks now represent their current instrument(icon on top) and pitch(color of lights on the side)
So i have found a bug related to the texture pack while using the newest 1.13 optifine. the piston seems to be broken, and i cannot wrap my mind around what's going on. also, i had an alternative glass tp that worked in 1.13, and i changed the names, but it dosen't seem to work, i'll provide the file in here, so maybe you guys can fix it, clear glass looks really awesome with misa's.
Fascinating. Though I don't think anything can be done on our end. Optifine is not out for 1.13 yet, so I'm not going to look into this until it is out.
-All coral now has textures (including dead coral to be added in 1.13.1) textures not necessarily final
-New bubble coral block texture.
-Misa style-mcpatcher spruce slabs now integrated into vanilla pack. (I previously stated everything mcpatcher that could be in the vanilla pack was included. I guess I forgot the spruce slabs). Well now they're in there too.
-possibly other changes, I didn't do a good job of keeping track
all the horse textures need to be translated for 1.13
Thanks for all the hard work you guys have been putting in to keep this resource pack alive and relevant. The change to the horse models is extremely annoying and I can only hope they don't do something like that again.I don't know if it'll help but I recently finished reformatting the Misa horse, to the best of my abilities with the resources I had, for my personal resource pack. I'm no graphic artist so I'm sure it could be done 'better' and a more creative person may want to do something different with the manes and tails but it's a dramatic improvement over default for sure. I've also never had a Misa Skeleton or Zombie horse so those are redone textures I believe I got from DokuCraft once upon a time. I'll post the files here, in case you want to use any of it, but it's up to you if you just want to work from scratch. At the very least it'll provide a stopgap until you release something better.
Misa never made a skeleton or zombie horse. Although Mojang first created them with the other horses(1.6), they weren't implemented so she didn't bother making them. Sadly that was also her last update to the pack.
Thank you for the textures. I'll clean these up a bit and add them to the next version. I have a surprise for the next update after mcpatcher is out.
This pack won't survive without community support. I cant do entities too well. My video game art background is in machines and structures. organic things (like most entities) are out of my league

wait, is mcptcher gonna be updated? heard the last update was for 1.7 or something
I'm glad you like and have been inspired by my old work. Having good fans when my pack was active really helped me out through some tough times in my life. However I'm sorry to disappoint, but updating the pack is probably not going to happen for many reasons:
-MCPatcher (which my pack was developed alongside of) is dead. Many of the features I was in progress of working on (and helping to design) are now unusable on the current version of the game and unsupported by Optifine.
-I work more than 40 hours a week at a very stressful and brain-numbing job. The thought of working even more than I already do for something that won't help pay the bills or replace the need for my actual job is unpleasant.
-I don't play Minecraft anymore, and if I felt like playing or modding something like it, I'd just go with Space Engineers or Medieval Engineers instead. Its developers are much more technically competent and their product is already more polished than Minecraft despite still being in Early Access.
-Working on the pack was a full-time job when I kept it regularly updated. It would do the exact opposite of freeing up time. At times I stayed up longer than 48 hours on patch days to finish my updates and provide live troubleshooting and quick fixes. I would eventually go to bed actually hallucinating.
-I don't get many people sending me messages to update the pack anymore. You'd be the first one I can even recall from this year. I think 'tons' of fans is a bit blown out of proportion. I peaked several years ago.
-My talent for making Minecraft textures may currently be overstated. I've not done much work with art in years, and as far as my knowledge of putting together a pack goes, most of that has been completely forgotten and obfuscated further by Mojang's repeated changes to the formatting. At this point, I honestly wouldn't even know where to begin if I were to start up my image editor and open my Minecraft working folders.
I don't know if you'll ever even see this, but I want to say thank you so much for creating this pack, to me, Misa IS default minecraft the other "default" is just a low-res substitute. I love this pack and the art style. I only wish I had the talent to replicate it.
That said, if you ever did want to come back and work on the pack, I'm sure everyone would appreciate the return of your art style especially when it came to mobs. And I know quite a bit about minecraft's newer model capabilities and blockstates as well as optifine features, and I'd love to help bring about any visions you have for the pack.
Thank you so much for this you are a real life hero I've missed this pack so much!!! everything you've done is absolutely amazing keep up the GREAT WORK!!!

I discovered Misa's thanks to Dataless822, ever since i saw him play with it i got hooked, and told myself that i have to get this and use it at all times, and nowdays it's just the deafult for me.

By the way, are you able to take a look at this connected glass tp for misa's? someone gave it away for 1.12, and worked great with optifine, but it needs a 1.13 update.

Did this really work in 1.12? The properties file was formatted incorrectly, I changed it's name and the values and the glass loaded up fine for me (as well as can be expected anyway since optifine isn't putting borders on the end of pane walls atm) so hopefully it'll do the trick for your buddy. I ignored the glass_panel folder because a couple versions ago MC started using the normal glass CTM pattern to fill out panes instead of panes having their own image files. Oh yeah, and I changed the pack format to 4 because the Old Version message was annoying me. Happy mining.
Well, the surprise I mentioned before IS connected glass, I never saw that file( and not to brag but I think mine is much better) but I did figure out a way to get some nice looking glass, unfortunately it requires optifine to work, which is no where near ready, without optifine you'll just see regular squares like normal. There are all colored glass variants and new glass edges. it's not as good as Misa's original as optifine still can't support the renderpasses like it used to.

That's some fine looking glass you have there. Is that the clear glass you have pictured there? If so I may have to use your glass for my own pack then. I don't use very many Misa textures in my pack (it looks too real for minecraft in my opinion) however I DID use Misa's Enderdragon texture to build a phantom that would be in line with my pack's mobs. If you guys want to use it for your pack or as a backbone to edit that would be fine by me. With that my pack is all but complete and nothing left is a Misa so this will likely be the last entity I have to send you way, at least until there's another update. Good luck with your textures.
P.S. Since you're working with optifine features I was wondering if you ever got around to redoing the properties file for the biome specific creepers? I think it was back in 1.7 I realized the biome list was incomplete and used some names that were no longer valid. I redid the list back then but I think I'll have to do it again since it's been so long since the last time I did. I would offer to let you use it but I don't use all of her creepers so the numbers probably wouldn't line up.
Yes, that is regular glass in the screenshots. Thanks for the phantom it will be in the next release, along with some random variants I whooped up real quick.
And yes, I have reworked the random mobs properties. Including adding a few, such as acacia and dark oak creepers, unfortunately I'm focused on 1.13 and the current beta version of optifine doesn't seem to have biomes in it and I'm too lazy to install 1.12

Okay, so the texture pack is mostly broken when using conected textures with optifine, hopefully future optifine releases will fix the issues.
Fascinating. Though I don't think anything can be done on our end. Optifine is not out for 1.13 yet, so I'm not going to look into this until it is out.
Update
Latest version, same link as before:
Download Misa+Giammod's patches up to 1.13
changes:
-All coral now has textures (including dead coral to be added in 1.13.1) textures not necessarily final
-New bubble coral block texture.

Yeah, i may be just optifine, i was using the same pack, not modified, and none of this was happening before.

I meant Optifine, sorry; It's best to assume people mean Optifine when they say mcpatcher or ctm, etc.

that is maybe because i edited the names to try to make it work the original file was posted a few thread pages ago here.
thank you so much for updating it, though, it'll help make my builds looks lovely now
