Got it working, but i must say, taht from a distance, the reeds look amazingly like creepers. Which I must say, is scary as hell when i saw my reed farm from afar XD
I think it's blended very well, some people just don't appriciate how long it takes to make the tiles seamless in 128/256x.
I usually spend more time making things tile well that actually painting them lol.
Anyways great job !
"make the tiles seamless"? Editing some pasted images is not that hard :/
Anyone can Google "insert type of block here" texture and copy paste it in photoshop and do some light editing on it.
Even so, they still tile badly. Look at the grass for example. I'm pretty sure you used this image,
for the grass (you didn't even bother to take out the little yellow flower thing). If you're gonna just use these kinds of images, make sure you actually edit them. You could have darken the center up to match the sides, as they are darker at the moment. E: I see you changed the grass tile, but you get the idea (it still tiles badly due to shadows).
The doors, chests, tnt, flowers, gold/diamond/iron, torch, tracks, and halfblocks all go badly with the other textures (i'm sure you're still trying to find good textures for these though).
The bamboo obviously doesn't tile well either and the dirt actually looks kind of low quality and blurry.

Not to... go too off-topic, but... Weren't you banned?
Ah well, welcome back!
Looks lovely. I was in awe when I saw the sun rise after coming out of my house. At first I wasn't sure what it even was. I happened to have a very "light-full" song playing in foobar at the exact same moment that enhanced the experience even more.
Hey guys. I thought this was an excellent texture pack to try out and I find it quite pleasing to the eye. The water animations and the sand textures are definitely awesome.
At the same time, I didn't like a few things (listed below), so now I'm changing them. Panico, I hope you don't mind. I'm open to sharing the new png files with the rest of the community if anyone feels like its important. So, the things I didn't like too much:
1) Gravel (it has this dark spot which ruins it. Replaced it with a different texture)
2) Planks are too dark.
3) Torch and lever handles look weird.
4) Smooth stone looked too rough (the default texture is probably more realistic, though I like my new one better).
5) The breaking animation looked off / weird. Changed it to fit the new cobblestone texture.
6) Cloth blocks looked dirty. Made them look incredibly white (I might change this, cause it's too white right now).
7) Along with the smooth stone change, the stone behind all the minerals changed as well to keep it consistent.
8) Leaves looked way too dark for my taste, brightened it up a bit.
Here are some screenshots to show you guys what I've changed:
Changes shown: Gravel, torch, stone
Changes shown: New break pattern
Changes shown: Brighter leaves, Stone, torch
Changes shown: Cloth blocks
Changes shown: Torches, stone, wood.
Planned changes in the future (that I would like, or I would do myself):
1) Mob textures
2) HD Paintings
3) Compass fix (for some reason the needle is extremely small in the UI now)
4) HD Particles for fire (I don't know if this is possible yet)
5) Minecarts and boats.
it doesn't really work, and causes the game to crash.
i've tried it with the terrain image in the jar file but still crashes it.
I've tried with Doku's inserted in the jar and used the hd pack, nothing changes.
I've also tried using a lower res pack no different but the HD bit crashes the game.

hey Troll i heard u like to jump off buildings, but i don't believe it. i bet u won't show me...
Ok, when I run with this pack, I can play for a while, but then something crashes minecraft. I had somebody elses HD pack installed prior and all was fine, so not sure what is causing it to crash with this pack installed.
Ok, I'm not trying to blame anybody's work for the issue.
I did try the game again with this pack installed, and played for about 45 minutes and then poof I dropped to the desktop without any error messages, where as the first time that it crashed I hadn't been in the game for more than 5 or 6 minutes.
Perhaps my computer simply can't handle the larger HD textures?

Installed this, but I find that the compass is too small. It would be nice if you could fix this, as I plan on using the pack from now on. I also need to go on a trek to find cactus, and it would be nice to find my way back home.
