Tree leaves look like Banjo-Kazooie: N&B block style. I love it. Keep working and I'll use it when I'ts done. I love space!
Lol I have an idea. Make the moon... the earth! What a better way to show you are on the moon then to have the earth in the sky at night. Also would it look better if the inside of the shaft of the tool was the same color as the tip?
I currently have the Minecraft icon set as the moon and it seems to work pretty well. I need to get a screen shot of that at some point. Mind you, I'm half tempted to do a disk on four elephants on the back of a turtle, but I don't know if my drawing skills are up to that.

I don't use other art aside from what came with the game.
Besides, you can always just edit your own terrain.png with what you want in it if you happen to like some other tile more than one of mine. (Just don't use MS Paint to do it.)

Nice job, but I would use one of those thumbnails of a cubed earth for the moon.
By "one of those" I mean the ones that are always floating around the forums :tongue.gif:
Sorry I haven't update this in a little bit. I've been spending time working on my texture mix machine for making custom texture mixes. (And from the size of that project it might take up from now till Halloween)

One of my favourite texture packs. I like how you also make some sort of slight story behind things in your posts, not just "here it is, it's a reskin".
Like swedish space pigs and space cows abducting earth cows, its great.
[*:1axvl8it]Fuse nano thread from space spiders with rods, made from processed wood, to create a ray gun!
[*:1axvl8it]Combine flint with rods and energy balls from the Chickenoids to make power cells for your ray gun!
[*:1axvl8it]Combine rods with various elements to make different color plasma tools. (Hint, the higher energy the light color, the more powerful the plasma tool. Note, don't go too far off the end of the spectrum though, purple might look cool but it doesn't cut very well. Don't tell Samuel Jackson I said that. >_> )
[*:1axvl8it]Don space suits to protect yourself from the environment! (Please remove the fish from inside the gold helmet before wearing. Fish are hard to breath.)
[*:1axvl8it]Pork can now be processed into Meat inna Box!
All the art files are now bundled in one handy zip file. See the first post in this thread for more details and the download link.

just go into the misc folder inside minecraft.jar, and find foliagecolor and grasscolor png's , they're these silly gradients with one half white and the other half green-to-greenish-yellow. You could just throw it full of white, or make it 100% transparent, OR.. you could go crazy and add slight shade variations to your mooncraft! "slightly purpleish bubbles for trees!" "this area is rich in specific minerals and the tint of this metal is slightly yellow" etc

Oooooh well thats what I get for not going to the forums first. *pulls up the files and gets to work*
Edit: Well that was easy, I've updated the .zip with the fixes for Halloween. For right now I've just pasted in the missing graphics for the terrain.png and items.png so there won't be bright pink blocks in hel and the like.

Is there a link to all of your previous textures? Everyone says they're great.
I've gone ahead and put a link in my signature to my page on my website for my textures. I still need to update that page to reflect the Halloween status of each and put links to the forum threads for each one but I haven't gotten around to it yet. (Haunted, Mooncraft, and Metalcraft are updated for Halloween at this moment.)
Now for the main reason I'm posting. This pack is going to be the first I submit for the contest and as such I've been going through and replacing art that isn't 100% mine.
I have also finally gotten around to doing the new moon!
Shot of it setting in the game:
I have the terrain.png almost done (Need to replace the cacti and pumkin art still in that) and then it's on to doing new skins for all the monsters. After that the rest of the items get a makeover and then possibly the inventory and crafting screens.
Feedback would be appreciated so I can make this the best possible and WIN! >_>

I have terrain.png done now. Here are some shots showing off the new plants and the new pumkins + pumkinblur
Who left all these alien helmets lying about?
New plants (yay!)
The biggest changes are the replacement of wheat with hydroponic strawberries for making dehydrated strawberries, every lunar astronaut's favorite snack, and cacti with strange blue crystal growths. (Didn't make sense to have them be a plant as then I'd have had to put them in a bubble and how could a cacti poke you through a bubble?)

And searched around the forums to see if there was a thread about it with an update and such, but all I found was this thread here.
Maybe you could use some stuff from that texture-pack. :biggrin.gif:

I... may actually have to find/make a mod to fix that which will break my rule of not making packs that require mods... *sob*

I also encased the pumkins/jackolanterns in protective glass bubbles.
