This pack is looking incredible. I created an account here just to compliment the pack. (Well not entirely, but I dedicate my first post towards complimenting your pack.
I'm itching to try those green torches!
Overall I think this is the most impressive level of detail I've seen so far in custom textures. These go a few steps beyond giving just a thematic impression to the textures; using these would transform my thinking about the nature of the game I'm playing, and in a very positive direction.

If you need suggestions for cobble, try just darkening the gaps between each stone as I think that will improve it.
This is a very good idea. I popped into Photoshop with a small square of a cobblestone from one of the pics and darkened the gaps, lightened the stones, and increased the contrast a bit and it looks a lot better. I would recommend playing around with the darkness of the gaps and the stones.
Steampunk... Delicious *humphumphumphumphump*
Torches are awesome looking!! Looks amazing so far.. Except the windows.. I will stab babehs >.<
I could edit them myself though, so I guess I'll get over it x.x lol
Anyway you could make it steampunkish without the cross-bars?
Maybe make the window a light clear green? Will match the torches to be a bit steampunkish :ohmy.gif:
Im not even a steampunk fan (in general, that is) but this looks really nice, I like it a lot. The only thing I dont like is the leaves look a bit off (mostly the colour i think).
I WILL download this as soon as I can. A suggestion for the windows though, maybe something with a little scrollwork? Obviously on the edges only, but along the lines of this:
OOH!! If you can, try and make the fences wrought-iron too!! This might not be possible the way it's coded, but it would be impressive nonetheless.

Haha! I've already got a cosmetic solution to this problem... Signposts, I've already designed the back part to look like metalwork on wood, and these make excellent decorative barriers. Everything's got to be as multi-tasking as possible for me!
For the glass, I originally went for a black Victorian scroll work design like you show, but I wanted the glass to be multi-tasking as a structural 'girder' block for things like cranes and and landing stations for 'skyships' and hot air balloons (if Notch listens to the airships suggestions on the Secret Friday Update threads), but I do like that suggestion. You're thinking on the same lines as me. :smile.gif:
I'm putting together more pics soon of what I've done in my own world with the textures so far. So hopefully you'll see what I'm getting at with this multi-tasking imperative of mine! This sort of thing takes a lot of organising but I think it's worthwhile explaining some of my design decisions.
Thanks so much for the continued interest. I'll do my very best not to disappoint, but there's no way I'll be able to please everybody and I'm all for you folks just picking and choosing what works for you. That's what's so great about Minecraft, surely! :biggrin.gif:
Great work.
Is that to do with Girl Genius? Just checking that over for the first time! :smile.gif:

Steampunk Pack - Steampunk textures.
Frenden's Texture Pack - Nice simple 16x16 texture pack.
Alchemy - *drool* Yesss...
This isn't a bad idea at all.
Green glass has a rather lovely vintage look to it.
Hah cool, someone liked my idea XD
