Hey there everyone! Glimmar I hope the holidays let you have enough rest,
though I know sometimes you get less rest during holidays but anyways.
I think you a re going to love this:
Wildgrass is now compatible with fancy pack and a bunch of other mods!
It is simply amazing how different my world looks now with ruins and
overgrown grass all over the place.
I noticed a small error in the sleeves -.- here is the fixed version..
Included this instead, thanks mate. :smile.gif:

have you guys/girls heard about the portal mod? or portal 2?
i found a image of a steampunk portal gun! could anyone make a icon tha looks like this:
-snip-
?
i made two, beacuse I am not entirely satisfied by the way they look. but I hope you like it!
it was kinda hard to draw a that complicated object in a 32x32 square... heh :biggrin.gif:
I have put these in the 'extras' folder too, with your permission. :smile.gif: d95 will be pleased I'm sure. Excellent job.

You're a very clever tinkerer! Hypnotic!

I certainly took my time with this. Still rather bare on the interior, as it's intended to be outfitted in several ways.
I got carried away and it's now too large to put under the arches of my airport as intended. I suppose that's why they build airports the way they do.
Awesome scale as usual, Foomonchoo.
Will include one of these pics along with the airship in my re-organised OP...coming soon. :smile.gif:

I visited you on YouTube and finally subscribed. Glad you've got all those mods working together. I'm kind of waiting now for the next update before I get bogged down enjoying my favourite mods. Trying to keep things clean and simple on my new computer (being a little too precious, 'cos it's all shiny and new) until I've got the new things in the 1.5 update converted for Glimmar's Steampunk.

The best bit? its a steam locomotive with two extra cars! From what I've seen, the crafting recipe is fairly long and more realistic (in comparison), about as much as the Planes mod. it also works the same way as pchan's Airships in that you add coal to make it move.
Just thought I'd bring this to your attention in case it had made it under your radar. I'm in no way asking for a re skin, as you're busy enough, I just figured it would be interesting.
Yeah, university has really doubled down recently, and I just couldn't get back into Minecraft for awhile. But I'll be out for the summer in about two more weeks, so I can get back to all the personal projects I have.
ps minecraft looks wired as hell major graphic glitch
That's just because the texture pack doesn't have the side-grass texture. I'ts pretty easy to fix by just making that 'crying obsidian' tile transparent while you wait for a proper side grass from the pack creator. It will also go away if you turn your graphics settings to fast instead of fancy.

Tis far better to be a witty fool than a foolish wit.
Just to say I'm about and surprised as you at all the changes. I've been out in the garden all day laying foundations for a summer house, ornamental bridge and pond decking foundations...I'm now dog tired, covered in concrete and wishing I could have a doze! You didn't want to know that though, so I'm just taking a look at all the changes that need to be made and trying not to panic as usual, but just letting you know I'm working on an update. Might not be instant, but I'll get there. I did manage to get some work done on the new railtracks and saplings last night (if they got put in...still to check yet!) and need to check if the new beta patcher has been updated then I can make sense of stuff in my world.
I've had a quick look at the train mod, ReaverR13, but will need to ignore for now. Welcome back Triskelli! :smile.gif: and The_Fool76 I'm not sure if it's good news or bad news about the redstone wiring, I'd just got used to the simplicity of my new wires and being an old fuddy duddy I don't like too much change! Lol! Also old fuddy duddies take time to absorb things into the old brain cells, so I'll sign off for now, begin work and keep popping in for breaks to see what else folk have found that might help me make head or tails of things. :smile.gif:
Righto! Had a good gander and apart from not knowing what the third new railtrack is until I wiki it and the second set of redstone wiring squares I assume for now can just be left blank, it shouldn't take too long. Lol! I'm getting tired of moving my 'Glimmar's Steampunk' title around, I'm sure Notch hates it! Nearly every update I've had to move it!
As I say, it shouldn't take too long to do a proper update, but I might hold back on changing the armor and redstone wiring 'till a little later as I don't want to rush things in that area. The nice new armor sets provided by techasquirrel, captainlepper and Dr. Kylstein will be in the 'extras' folder for now, but I may use them in game later if I've not done anything myself. There's a few other new things in the extras folder I left out by accident last time...I'll leave you to discover those...but there's a couple of really nice 'airplane' mod skins in there by Elretha.
Minecraft, and all the mods that have come out in the last month really seems to have leapt foward to a new level where I feel I can't keep up with all the stuff I'd love to texture for. As I've mentioned before, if anyone would like to use any of my textures, particularly the new alternative sheets 1 and 2 for skinning any favourite mods and offer them back here for others to use, I'll happily include them in the 'extras' folder and start a list of supported mods with proper credit for the person who created the texture in the OP. Certainly if I find myself with some spare time I might have a go at texturing an appropriate mod, but probably not something too complicated. I'm hoping the piston is definately in the next Notch update as I'm waiting to get my hands on an official version of that mod. Simple and cool sums that piece of clever coding.
As usual, thanks for your patience people. :smile.gif:

There an on, off, and detector rail. The blank spot below the redstone if for an overlay of sorts. I thnk you can do the top texture in white, then make an overlay that covers it on the space below it. I'm testing it now.
oh...and rain falls through glass

Thanks, mate. Appreciate that!
Love those rails of yours, by the way! I'm getting frustrated with the railtracks 'cos I've so many varieties open in Gimp I can't decide whether to go 'coggy' or 'glowy' for powered track or 'pressure pad' or 'glowy' for the detector track. Too many possibilities! Gah! That's why I'm taking time out to post on here.
Ha! Rain through glass. That's perfect for the likes of us with glass/cast iron girders blocks. Lol! I guess this means there'll be a 1.5_1 update soon then. I've only been in Minecraft for like 5 mins, so haven't seen anything exciting other than pink saplings and strange redstone wiring.
Nice that the new beta patcher was up and running fine so quick...it really is a smashing improvement for those who can get it working.
Also, Jeb is supposed to update tomorrow to fix a couple of bugs, so yeah the _.1 should come quickly.
I'm going with your advice, Ghil, 'cos I still can't decide...it's getting there though. Everything I did last night on the new track has completely changed!
Poor Jeb, I bet everybody else has left the office to play Portal 2!
Hi Glimmar, long time lurker, first time poster here. :smile.gif:
I love the pack! The attention to detail is staggering!
Oh, a tip: I mucked around with the redstone, and I'm not sure if you know this yet or not, but you can get the old redstone back, the one you had with pipes! All you gotta do is put the pipes texture into the bottom redstone slot, and leave the top redstone slot completely empty, and voila!

Ooo! You're a star, mate! Welcome to the forums and thanks for the compliment and although others have mentioned that I should be able to have my redstone pipes back, you've made it sound a little less complicated. I've grown to love my new diode block though, and that's going to need more thought as to how I proceed with that and pipes.
I may still put out an update with the wired redstone still in place, then I can have more time to experiment, and see if I can combine effects from both sets of redstone. I may even do some variations, but updates never seem to work well with my real life commitments and as I said earlier, I've got more concreting and foundation work to do tomorrow.
Again, thanks for the support. I'm going to be at this 'till the wee small hours tonight, otherwise I'll have to carry on tomorrow night (UK time). :sad.gif:
hey don't worry too much about the update, we're behind you 100%. With the amount of time and effort you put into such a wonderful pack, I doubt anyone that is right in the head would dare get angry at you for updating late :tongue.gif:

So, 1.5! Just in time for Easter/Portal 2. Has anyone had ideas for the new track pieces?

Redstone wire has been fixed in a way that will allow for the return of your lovely pipes!
Hiya Triskelli! Long time buddy...
Mine are done :tongue.gif:
These might even fit in with Glimm's (haven't tested) so feel free to use them until he get's his tracks updated.
