Well, it's not updated for 1.4_01, but it works with the update. So it's a problem on your end.
I've read the original post and I've followed video instructions to increase java heap size so I could attempt to get Scuttles' LB Photo Realism texture pack to work. I'm running windows 7 ultimate with 8gbs of ram, 3.2 ghz cpu and dual nvidia 260s. after patching and running, it works fine for a varied duration (on my first world it would run <one minute fine, on a new world it took over five minutes for it to encounter the same issue. both world sizes are above 7.5mb but under 8mb). I set the maximum java allocated memory to 2gb

Ok, I know I'm a total noobasaur here but how do I even use the newest mcpatcher? I don't see an option to select texture packs, only an "input" and "output" selection so I'm terribly confused. I have used the old version before, and I know how to use that. Please help :sad.gif: I'm so sick of trying to find good 16x texture packs
Anyone know why this breaks zombe's mods, specifically the flying mod?
I'm using dante's albion tp, and it works fine up until I patch it. Or should I use the new beta version, or will that not work?

problem on my end....if the patch isnt working with 1.4_01 then its not my problem they should update.
if not i nreally need help on figuring out wat to do here. cuz before the 1.4 my realism worked fine. nao only items, water, animals, paintings **** like that come up as realism then like dirt gravel etc. come up as defualt. why would only half a pack work?

Is there a way so that you can use the texture pack selector within minecraft, because everytime I try to switch to a texture pack other than the one that was used in the Mc patcher, minecraft crashes, and I have to delete the texture for minecraft to work again. I also tried duplicating minecraft so that I could have a minecraft with the texture I put in the Mc patcher, and a minecraft that has multiple texture packs. But when I duplicate minecraft it still doesn't work, so i was wondering if anyone can help me.
I tried patching with a clean minecraft.jar, without the texture pack selected. Then I patched the mod with TFC's mod manager including the modloader (required for zan's minimap mod).
Used to work before 1.4. Now I get a black screen and a crash after the splash.
EDIT: nevermind, was using an outdated version of Zan's mod.
first off i love the texture pack. the problem is when i start up minecraft and it takes a long time to get to the mojang logo then it takes a long time then it crashes right before the main screen goes up. but this does not happen if i use the patcher test minecraft. this is on the downloaded minecraft beta 1.4. please help.
I made my own texture pack off of mixcraft and the johnsmith texture pack. I edited the pack in Photoshop and when I used your patcher, after I clicked on the TExture pack box and set the resolution to 32X32, I opened the zipped file in "browse" After I said Open an error message popped up and in the log window it said

I can't show you the texture pack but it was all 32x32. Please help. =
ok , i havn't heard back from the author , but i'm locking this tread , use the link under "HOT" in the opening message for MC 1.4+, for those of you still using 1.3 and having problems i'm sorry that this tread is being locked on you. Getting too many complaining that they can't get it to work on 1.4+ and don't read before they post.
when the author is ready with an update they can contact me to re-open this thread or start a new one

Do you have a solution for this?!

when I read this line:
it appears to me as if the game is attempting to run with memory cap at 1gb? I shall assume I am mistaken
any help appreciated, thanks
